Appointment was at 1:30pm. Technician arrived 30-45min late after multiple calls to office asking for an arrival time. Technician was in an unbranded personal vehicle, which seemed a bit unprofessional. Unit was inspected and it was noted that a new capacitor was needed. We paid for the replacement service and after installation, the technician did not stick around to see if it was cooling properly. Two weeks later, unit is still not being cooled completely and thermostat is hovering at 75, even when set to 68. We decided to have the unit rechecked by another company, which quickly noted that the unit was low on 1lb of freon, which should have been checked during the first inspection. I'm not doubting the need for the capacitor...just the lack of thorough inspection, that led me to have to pay another company.

Oasis returned an emergency call on a Saturday night when our furnace stopped working, came out Sunday morning and diagnosed the problem. We decided rather than do a major repair to replace our furnace (20 years old, beyond replacement age). They were unable to get the furnace on Sunday, but they returned Monday morning, replaced the furnace. I spent a lot of time talking to the manager on Sunday and to the technicians on Monday who did the replacement. They did an excellent job, were excellent communicators, were very clear about the problems, which they showed me with lucid explanations of the mechanical functioning of the defective parts. We researched on the web the furnace they recommended for replacement, an American Standard Gold model -- highest reviews in Consumer Reports. They also included a thermostat replacement, with a Nest thermostat. Their manager and repair people are very patient and articulate communicators. I had some concern about minor problems the next day (the humidifier was turned off and I wanted to be sure there was no problem, and one of the circuit breakers was also turned off and I had a problem resetting it). They offered to send a repair person the same day, but i was able to resolve the problems myself. Nevertheless, the manager insisted on coming by to make sure there was no miscommunication and there was no problem with the humidifier (there wasn't). I am very pleased with their work, careful, professional, very responsible. I will ask them first for estimates in the spring when we need to replace our a/c units and a second furnace and will be happy to hire them again.

Oasis came out to look at the job 3 days after my first contact with them, provided the written estimate the very next day, and scheduled the work five days later. There was a brief moment of consternation when the men arrived to do the install because they were going to have to set up a ladder on a porch roof and they were a little concerned with safety, but once they got it figured out and down to work there were no more hiccups. They could have been a little more considerate of our space (little things like putting a dirty screen on a bed) but the work looks great, so I'm not docking any grades. My husband was a little miffed because the condensation drain, which had been installed previously, had never been hooked up, so we had some water in our basement on the first day. But I didn't feel like that was their responsibility, the drain was there, why wouldn't it be hooked up? Overall very happy with the experience.

My experience with Oasis was a great experience from the start. We were in a time crunch to do some repairs before we closed on our home and Jennifer was extremely helpful - and cheerful - in scheduling my appointment and took the time to work with my schedule. She was very flexible in working around my availability. She was open to listening to my concerns and provided great information on what was to be done. The customer service from her was remarkable! On the day of the repairs we were not able to be present at the property and the technician, Asim, was in contact with us constantly and would call or text before he did anything. He also had some suggested fixes and worked magic on a recurring issue we were having. Once he was done, he took photos and sent them via text to prove the work was complete and asked if everything looked ok before he left. It was amazing. Oasis went above and beyond on our service call and I have never had such a great experience in working with an HVAC company. I would recommend Oasis to anyone and everyone for all your HVAC needs. Its been about a week since our service call and I am still amazed at their noteworthy level of customer service.

The owner, Mike, is extremely professional and knows his stuff. He has always been responsive and prompt. They replaced our furnace and air conditioner and made recommendations so that when we remodel it will be less invasive in the basement. They moved our AC to the side of the house so that it would not be right under our kitchen window. I was very impressed with Mike's management of the team. They were prompt and efficient. Price was over $1,000 cheaper than larger company with an A grade on Angie's List.

I have used their annual maintenance service for my furnace the last 3 years. They charged higher than other companies but I was willing to pay more because they have very good reviews. The owner is also very nice. I was planning to replace my whole furnace system with them this upcoming summer. Today, my furnace died. Of course they are the first one I called. They said it's outside of their service range, so they won't come. (I live in downtown/South Loop). I was like...what??!!! You have been coming to do regular maintenance for 3 years and even provided me a quote for replacing the entire system. Now, it broke and you refused to come fix it???!!!! Good thing I didn't replace the furnace through them.

Mike, installed my furnaces in my 2 flat 3 years ago so when my tenant's air conditioning unit went out there was only one person I needed to call, Mike at Oasis. He shows up when he says, his office staff is courteous and professional and the crew does and completes the work as promised.

Along with an extremely reasonable invoice for a big HVAC job came the note from Jennifer that "Positive Reviews are very important to our business."  Well they are also very important to consumers and as other consumers pointed me to this terrific company I want to pass it on down the line!  These people are professional: reliable and honest. Our first appointment was at 11a, at my son's house and as I wasn't sure he'd be available, I hurried over.  It was 10:55 and the Oasis van was parked out front.  We decided that we needed to replace an entire 42,000 btu system and because we had overheated infant twins they agreed to do it within 48 hours.  It took three men six hours to install an expensive unit and the cost was not even twice  what Home Depot charged us to have two men work two hours to improperly install a water heater.  Didn't mean to get into a math problem to say that we are delighted:  these guys are A1 and I wish they did carpentry, car repair, maybe even neurosurgery.  Good job Mike & Josh!  Congratulations!

Joshua arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous. He took the time to listen to me about the issues with the air conditioning and was able to diagnose and repair it within the hour.  I will definitely use Oasis again in the future.

It went perfectly. The furnace people before him wanted me to replace the furnace for $4,500.00 for a small coach house. This guy did a ventilation switch for only $175.00 and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is on time and courteous. He is also compassionate and understanding. Highly recommended to people who are worried about being easily ripped off. They are the most honest people I have worked with. I am a widow and they basically saved my life.

After dealing with a ton of service provider who have no clue how to run a service provider business, it was very refreshing to deal with a service provider that was responsive, prompt and polite.  I was able to schedule an appointment for "winter maintenance" quickly (the price was a bit higher than I think I could have otherwise gotten but having a reliable service provider is certainly worth something in itself these days), a received a reminder call the day before the appointment, Josh arrived on time, the maintenance appeared to be thorough (from my layman's perspective) and Josh provided us with a few helpful tips.  A few hours after the appointment, I received a receipt for the services via email detailing the price paid and services provided.   Very professional and I would highly recommend!

A+++ I called for a clean and check for my furnace. The Tech, Josh came by to do the work. He couldn't have been more professional. He explained everything in detail about the parts that fail in a furnace. He assured me everything was working properly and the furnace was in great shape. He didn't try to sell me extras or tell me I needed a new furnace because my furnace is fifteen tears old. He even took apart my pump for my humidifier and cleaned it out for me. He went above and beyond what I expected. Don't fall for the 49 dollar cleaning specials some of the other contractors offer. I paid 135.00 dollars and it was worth every penny. I'd trust these guys 100%-and that in itself is well worth the extra few bucks I paid.
