He called me on the phone, I explained it was one room. He told me he didn't need to come out for such a small and I could send him pictures. When I sent the pictures, he never responded to if he was interested in doing the job or not. He at least could have called to say he will not do the job.

Luiz and Odin we wonderful right from the start. They responded to my service request on a weekend and were extremely polite and eager to help in any way possible. It was a very smooth process from the get-go in terms of scheduling a viewing followed by scheduling a service. These two were very professional and provided incredible customer service which is difficult to find these days. Not only did they do a beautiful job on my new home, they did it quickly, and also got us set up with an amazing contractor to help us complete our hardwood floors. Overall extremely satisfied - I am thankful for the wonderful service and great work!

I was highly impressed with O's design as soon as I contacted them. They were very responsive and professional. I have a large old house that I wanted almost completely painted and was not expecting them to be able to do the job right away, but I had just moved in and was desperate to get my daughters' rooms done for them. They understood this and had the rooms done within the week. We are now having them come back to do the entire first floor and are looking forward to working with them again. A wonderful company.

Great. We've used O's before a few months ago and they continued with great work and service. My wife and I were commenting how friendly, eager-to-please, and quiet (we forgot they were there) the painters were. Definitely would HIGHLY recommend.

This is the second project O's Decorating has worked on for me. Every time their involved the work gets done on time and at a fair price. Their work standards are higher then most costumers, this is evident in their attention to detail which is critical in finishing work. You don't have to babysit they are true professionals! They make sure to cover and protect areas while work is underway also cleaning and removing trash when the job is finished. Everyone I've worked with from the owner down to the on site workers are friendly and helpful. I can honestly say O's decorating will be one of the first calls I make when beginning my next project.

Everything went well. We enjoyed working with the owner, the crew did a good job, and they cleaned up nicely after finishing the work. I also appreciated that one of the workers took it upon himself to help me with some storm doors and windows.

We found Odin to be a high quality traditional painter. After interviewing several crews (including those with overall higher Angie's List ratings), we selected Odin based on a personal recommendation and the time he took up front to really understand what we were looking for. He rummaged through our existing paint cans to find the exact finish and color -- none of the others took this time up front. In the end, Odin and his crew have now painted 5 rooms in our home on two different occasions including some difficult restoration work in which portions of the room walls and trim needed to be matched to the original. He understands paint to a detail that most skip over, and he and his crew delivered excellent quality; plus they were reliable, reasonably priced, and easy to do business with. He is now our go-to painter for our Lincoln Park home.

I had contacted Odin after a coworker of mine had strongly recommended him. He had done hardwood floors in her home. He came over the next day to measure out our floors and our cabinets in order to give us an estimate. He was professional and seemed very nice. However, he never got back the estimate to me even after I emailed and called him to remind him. In the phone call, he stated that my estimate was coming the next day but never did. I was very disappointed.

O's crew showed up on time and completed all work as expected. I was surprised at how quickly and efficiently they worked. They were very respectful of our furniture and even moved some furniture around for us. After they finished we decided we didn't like the color we chose for the living room so they came back out and repainted the living room for a reasonable price. I will use them for all future painting needs.

The work went well. The dining room took extra coats due to the depth of color and we paid extra for that, but that was expected with the gray primer and 2 top coats still didn't cover. The crew was quick and efficient.
