I have owned Five Star ovens in the past, and the oven failure on a less than one year old appliance was unexpected.  I contacted Five Star, and they were surprisingly slow in locating a repairman in the Chicago area.  I expected that they would have a number of certified repairmen in the area, but apparently not.  After about a week of waiting, they told me that Nu Dell appliance would send someone out to install a new thermostat in my oven. It did not go well.
NuDell came out on March 28 to make the repair.  The tech was odd and quirky to say the least.  He constanty talked - to the appliance , to himself, and sometimes to my wife who was home.  The tech did not seem comfortable or experienced with the appliance, and had to dismantle a large portion of the stove top to access and replace the thermostat. My wife was uncomfortable with him in the house.  In the process of replacing the part, he forced the thermostat in place, bent the metal housing that shields the thermostat, and actually broke the thermostat in two places. (I learned this later when a second repairman replaced the part properly) .  
About a week after Nu Dell visit, the oven failed again.  I demanded a different repairman this time, and the part was successfully replaced.
