Multiple Designs United, Inc remodeled a bathroom for me. It's been exactly a year, and I have had major problems. There were minor issues immediately, such as the door opening to the inside of a small bathroom instead of swinging open to the outside of the bathroom, an electrical outlet that didn't work (they fixed it), but it's still really hard to plug anything into it, the door and the frame is highwater. There is a large gap between the door and the floor. However, the most serious problem is that I had a walk in shower installed and the work was not done properly or carefully. There were areas around the tile floor edge that had no grout at all, and the silicone was not all the way around the edges between floor and wall. I had to install some along one wall myself because when I told them, they didn't seem to care or correct it. So what is happening now is that I have a major leak because water seeps in along the edges between the floor and wall in the walk in shower. I now have mold and wood rot because it has been happening slowly for most of the year. Now the problem was serious enough that it was finally noticed and made a hole in the ceiling wall below. I am now having to pay someone else to completely re-do the floor of the walk in shower and fix the wood rot. The contractor told me to stop being so angry and "we would work it out" but he has yet made no commitment to help pay for the repairs as a result of poor quality work. I believe this happened because of short cuts, cutting corners to reduce their cost, not paying attention to important details, and not always hiring the folks who really know what they are doing.
