They are very good. I have not had any problems at all. They follow the warranty to the letter and I would highly recommend them.

The service is fine that's why I go back. When I bought the car it was a reasonable price, it was neither the cheapest nor was it the highest. They were very good. I wanted to get some flaps for the tires and they quoted a price. I went back a year later to get it done and they honored the price. They don't push that you need this or that. It is more customer oriented. They have taken care of a lot of problems.

We worked with Mario and were very pleased with the transaction. He offered us a good price and showed us what we needed to know about how the car worked.

AFTER TAKING MY CAR TO A LOCAL MECHANIC BECAUSE OF OVERHEATING, A COOLANT LEAK, AND MISFIRING, I BROUGHT MY CAMRY TO A CERTIFIED TOYOTA DEALERSHIP. I EXPLAINED TO THE TOYOTA REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FORE MENTIONED ISSUES. AFTER CONDUCTING AN INSPECTION, THE TOYOTA REP. TOLD ME I HAD A BAD COIL IN CYLINDER #2, AND FOUND PRESSURE LEAKING INTO #2 AND #3 CYLINDERS. AFTER A FURTHER TEAR DOWN OF THE ENGINE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ENGINE HAD LOOSE HEAD BOLTS IN THESE CYLINDERS, AND THAT THE THREADS ON THE ENGINE FOR THESE BOLTS WAS STRIPPED. THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO FIX TO THIS PROBLEM AND QUOTED ME A NEW ENGINE WITH 90,000 MILES WITH AN ESTIMATE COST BETWEEN $5000-$6000. FURTHERMORE, I WAS TOLD REPLACING THE COIL AT $227, WOULD FIX THE MISFIRING. HOWEVER THIS DID NOT FIX THE MISFIRING PROBLEM, AS THE MISFIRE WAS DUE BECAUSE OF THE LOOSE HEAD BOLTS WHICH WAS EXPLAINED TO ME BY THE DEALERSHIP AS WELL. THIS CONFLICTING INFORMATION LED ME TO BELIEVE IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AS LONG AS COOLANT WAS PLENTIFUL IN THE RADIATOR AND OVER FLOW RESERVOIR. HOWEVER, THE OVERHEATING, LEAKING OF COOLANT AND MISFIRING CONTINUES. THE MISFIRING CREATES DANGEROUS RANDOM STALLS.
UPDATE:
I had my local mechanic repair the stripped threads on the engine head with the Helicoil Thread Repair Kit. Worked great!! I have full engine compression restored.
Midtown Toyota, why did you tell me the threads could not be repaired and replacing the engine was the only thing you were willing to do for me? I know for a fact you know exactly what the issue was as many 2002-2006 Toyota 2.4L, 2AZFE engines have this problem. I would have appriciated you putting me in the correct direction when it came to fixing this problem with the engine. Even if you can't handle this kind of repair work at your service center, I would have expected from such a well experienced service center as yourself to at least have the courtesy of telling me the correct information, and at best give me a phone number to a mechanic who could have fixed this.
We also replaced a coil in which had no bearing on the mis-firing problem. The mis-firing continued after this replacement. We should have never replaced it. However I'll take the hit for this part of the work that I agreed to, but you knew this was not going to help the mis-firing....you admitted to a loss of pressure in the engine system prior to replacing it!!!
This kind of service is not acceptable. You misled me. You should have done a better job on the information you gave me, and directed me in the correct path on resolving the issue. Instead I left your service department with the same problems, $300 less in my pockect, and incorrect information to give to the next mechanic. Don't worry I did my homework, I read so much about the Toyota 2.4L 2AZFE engine and how it works, I can out whiz you at a quiz on it my friend.
Furthermore, you guys were late on getting me my car back!!!!!

I purchased my car there. They are respectful and courteous. They let me know what needs to be done. They stay on top of things with my car. They are fast. I do not need an appointment. They send me reminders.

They do a good job and I'm very pleased with them. They have been good as far as everything. You go there and get your work done. They either tell you that you can wait while they get it done and they are not pushing like somebody to do a shift. We went on the internet and mention what you need done and they could refer a couple of dealers and dealers will send you a price and you can go from there. We had three dealers send us bids one was like pick a price and one was a fantastic price. We got there and the car they had quoted us on was a strip down car with nothing on it. We put down exactly what we wanted and we got this strip down car when they started added everything in which we wanted, it was like they were kidding. I just walked away from that guy. I told him I'm not going to deal with a company like this. I walked to Midtown and they offered me a reasonable price and it was a couple of thousands the sticker price which is basically what I was going to get. There was no hassle we went in there and just signed in and bought the car. I have recommended a couple of people to go there and they had the same experience. They are a couple of miles away but I don't mind going there because I trust them. The price was good we checked different magazines and the invoices and everything else and it was a reasonable price for us and for them.
