MEGATHERM CORP

Avoid this company!!  They don't know what they are doing.  The AC unit they installed has never worked properly.  After install it worked for a little while.  However, it stopped working and they lead us to believe that they could fix it.  First, they blamed the thermostat.  Then, they said it was a small part in the AC.  Eventually, they replaced the compressor.  That still didn't solve the problem.  Now, I have added 4 lbs of refrigerant this summer.  The unit is 2 yrs old.  Another AC company has pointed out poor workmanship connecting the condenser coil.  Megatherm refuses to work on the unit and make it right.  There technicians are the most incompetent workers I have ever encountered.  They broke my counter top and skylight accessing the AC.  They have been late or had to reschedule several appointments and have shown up without the proper tools to do a repair.  And, they will lie.  I was told by Megatherm that the AC loses refrigerant because the AC vibrates.   Bottom line, do not do business with this company.
