It's easy. You just call them up and ask them for the list of services that they provide and how much it costs. This is a part of the store. I use an individual hairdresser. I like the work that he does. It's easy to make an appointment. I like the person who does my hair. I think he's very skilled at what he does. He has a nice personality. He makes me look nice. It's reasonable.

Watch Repair
Previous battery replacements at this store had been uneventful. But this time, while replacing my watch battery while I waited, the employee broke the glass (he called it "crystal") on my watch. He did not charge me for the battery replacement, but had to send my watch out for repair, resulting in a four-week wait! This was overall an extremely frustrating experience, not only because I had to go without my watch for a long period of time, but also because the Watch Dept. staff were rude to me at the times when I called to check on the status of my watch. I eventually contacted Macy's Customer Service at the store level. The Customer Service Department did resolve things in an acceptable manner and was generous in providing "Macy's dollars" to make up for the way I was treated by the Watch Dept. I'm not sure whether I would bring my watch back here.

arrive before Thanksgiving. I called Macy's again the next day and was told it would be no more than 8 weeks to deliver the leaf. I called two and a half weeks before Thanksgiving -holding for another 40 min to try to figure out what the problem was- this time only to find out that no replacement part was ordered, and, in fact, they couldn't replace the leaf. They had to replace the whole table! And no they couldn't do this before Thanksgiving. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was given a voicemail. I left my name and number. A woman called me back left a message with a number for me to call her back; however when I called back there was no such extension. After trying several times I reached an actual person who said "Oh, she's new and there seems to be a problem with the system." Yes, there is definitely a problem with the Macy's system. We bought the rest of the furniture we needed from Carson's from whom we have had great service and prompt replies.

A combination of on-site and on-line merchandizing. The best of both worlds! Catching sight of, carefully perusing, touching, sitting in the actual chair at Fields, then being able to make further consideration at home, and when decided, to not have to go back downtown, but get online and complete the purchase. This is ideal. The chair was promptly delivered.

WHEN THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED, HE WAS 5 HOURS EARLY, AND HE HAD A REAL ATTITUDE. THEN, NOT ONLY DID HE SCOFF AT ANYONE'S ABILITY TO CLEAN ONE PROBLEM AREA, HE REFUSED TO MOVE EVEN A SMALL CHAIR DESPITE THE FACT THAT I WAS 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. HIS ATTITUDE WAS SO BAD WE ASKED HIM TO LEAVE. AND HE COMPLAINED ABOUT OUR RIGHT TO DO THAT.

BOUGHT WALL TO WALL CARPETING, SEVERAL AREA RUGS, AND RUNNERS FROM THEM. BOTH SALESPERSONS I WORKED WITH WERE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR STOCK, AND THE ADVANTAGES, AND DISADVANTAGES OF THE VARIOUS TYPES OF CARPET. THE MEASURING, AND INSTALLATION WAS PROFESSIONAL, AND TIMELY.

THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE FOR THE MATTRESS WAS GOOD. THE SALESPERSON AT OLD ORCHARD, WAS LOW PRESSURE & HELPFUL, LEFT US PLENTY OF TIME ALONE TO DISCUSS & DECIDE. TROUBLE STARTED WITH DELIVERY. I BOUGHT A PRETTY HIGH-END SET; 1ST AVAIL DELIVERY TIME WAS ABOUT 2 WKS FROM PURCHASE. AS PROMISED, THEY DID CALL THE DAY BEFORE WITH A 2 HOUR WINDOW, AND THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY SAID THE BOX SPRING COULDNT MAKE IT AROUND THE BEND IN MY STAIRS AND RETURNED THE ENTIRE SET (NOT JUST THE BOX SPRING) TO THE WAREHOUSE. TOOK A DAY TO GET A MESSAGE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT WITH NO FOLLOW UP. I HAD TO PROACTIVELY CALL THE SALESPERSON TO PLACE A NEW ORDER. INSTEAD OF IMMEDIATELY REPLACING, I HAD TO AGAIN WAIT FOR THE NEXT DELIVERY DATE, ANOTHER 2 WKS. THEY DELIVERED ON TIME AGAIN; THIS CREW SAID THAT THE OTHER BOX SPRING WOULD HAVE FIT, THE 1ST CREW WAS JUST TOO LAZY TO DO IT. THE NEXT DAY I GOT MY CREDIT CARD BILL, AND THE 1ST SET HAD NEVER BEEN CREDITED. IT TOOK 4 CALLS TO FIX THIS, WITH NO APOLOGY

THE MATTRESS WAS NOT "ON SALE" AND QUITE EXPENSIVE. THE SALES PERSON WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, DIDNT PUSH, AND GAVE ME AN EXTRA 10% DISCOUNT BECAUSE OTHER MATTRESSES WERE ON SALE. DELIVERY WAS SMOOTH. DELIVERY PERSONNEL CALLED 3 DAYS BEFORE, THE DAY BEFORE AND THE MORNING OF THE DELIVERY. I APPRECIATE THIS SERVICE.
