I would give a 6 star review if I could. I called KG because I had an electrical issue that had nothing to do with my gate. My electrician couldn't figure out the problem so he told me to ask if it was the gate causing an electrical short. Josh came out & confirmed that all his equipment was working properly. Then my electrician comes back & asked to talk to Josh to figure it out. Josh answers his phone WHILE ON VACATION!!! You can't get that kind of service anywhere. It was a bad GFI outlet. KG Doors has been responsive since the installation May 2015

I finally called another garage door company to come in and correct the work done by Josh. They had to completely rewire the job because Josh had clipped all the wires he didn't use and they were needed to work the screen door. I REPEAT that I will never use K G Doors again!!!

I called Josh (the owner) to replace a garage door opener for my business. Originally, the garage door could go up and a screened garage door could be lowered. If the garage door was down, a safety would prevent the screened door from being lowered. However, Josh incorrectly installed the opener, so now the safety does not work - one door lowers on top of the other, falls off the track, and jams. I have called Josh numerous times; each time he says he will correct the installation, but he never shows up. It seems that he doesn't know how to fix the problem. His neglect and lack of follow-through is extremely unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this company.

Great, they came and put them back in, tightened up the coil, lubed the rollers and hinges and everything is working wonderfully again.

It went well and took very little time considering the cost.

Great! Even though this was such a small job, Josh came out, brought a new, modern remote control and programmed it to work with my garage door opener. He only charged me for the remote and did charge a service fee. It makes me feel so secure to know that he is willing to come out and take care of things whenever I have a minor emergency like this.

K G Doors responded to my request for service dated 3/12/16; He cam

e out on 3/16/16 and repaired the roller and cable on my garage door. It worked for a while. On 5/17/16, all but one of the roller pins popped off;

One cable was broken. The garage door was hanging very lopsided by only one (taunt) cable and a J hook barely holding the door in place.

 I immediately called KG Doors thinking  that they would fix the problem. Two days later and several messages, they had not called back.

I called again and finally spoke with Josh. We made an appointment for Sat. morning at 8:00. I called at 8:30 and again at 9:10

 to see where he was and if he was still coming. In both cases, I left messages on the voicemail and never received a response.

I eventually called another company, Precision Garage Doors. They were there within 90 minutes and I purchased a new door.

He was on time and in an out in a jiffy. He performed routine maintenance to door opener, rollers, chain, and photocell.Have referred many times.

Excellent from A-Z! Came out same day I called. Josh was friendly, informative. He needed to get parts for my gate and said he'd be back next day. He removed and re-hung our gate door on an old fence. It now works like new. He showed up on time and completed the work within 45 minutes. Price was great for what he performed. He kept in touch as to arrival times, etc. I HIGHLY recommend them.  

I purchased the offer - $99 for garage door tune-up and roller replacement. Everything went smoothly and the whole task just took about 30 mins.

I backed into my garage door while it was still opening, damaging the brackets on the sides that hold the rollers.  I called K G doors after finding them on Angie's List.  Someone answered right away, and when I described the issue and my location he said he was in the area and could come check it out in about a half hour.  They arrived as promised and fixed the issue on the spot.  The price was a little steep given the short duration of work required, but I was willing to pay for such prompt service.  I'll call them again next time I have an issue (hopefully I never back into my garage again, though)!

The technician arrived about an hour later than scheduled but more than made up for it with his efficient work ethic.  Had the old removed and the new replaced in about an hour and spent additional time providing a brief tutorial on the functionality of the opener to less than tech savvy consumer.

I will have to admit there were a few hiccups before Josh and I came to agreement (Josh, your ad is still up) but after that the job proceeded famously. We are very pleased with the work they did. We would hire them again. We feel the price was good and we would recommend them to any  who ask.

Very responsive. My car was stuck inside garage since the garage spring broke and the door was too heavy to lift. Called K G Doors and they had someone there within 30 minutes. Door was repaired within a couple hours of the call. I could not be happier. Great service.

The guys were easy to deal with and prompt, despite being located rather far away.  I will admit I wasn't super thrilled with the precision of the detail work (specifically how neatly a line was cut in some exposed rubber material lining the top of the door.  It looked roughly cut by hand with a utility knife--edges were jagged and not straight).  However, I didn't request that they re-do it because it wasn't THAT noticeable unless you were right under it looking for it.  If I had requested, they may have redone it...?  The door itself is fine quality and looks beautiful--nice improvement from before!  And the guys were prompt and quick.  If I hired them again (I would), I just might be pickier and more vocal about that detail.  Otherwise, pleased.

Door now rolls as smoothly as ever.  His suggestion to replace some rollers with longer stemmed versions was greatly appreciated.  The repair did not take very long at all, and the provider showed up well within the time frame he originally provided.  He was able to perform the work the day after we initially contacted him.

To be honest, it didn't really seem worth the $99 we paid. The person that came was friendly. He worked quickly. Those were the positives. The negative would be that within three years we had to replace the entire garage door system. Quickness could probably be a negative too because he was only here for about 20 minutes and it didn't seem like he did a very thorough job.
