We had John's Masonry replace the concrete steps on our Chicago bungalow. They did such a great job we hired them again to fix up the brick exterior and chimney. Very satisfied!

John and crew did an excellent job turning our backyard in lot usable space. We had concrete in very bad shape, an old planting bed and a small grass area that would grow very well. John’s crew leveled the whole area, replaced the concrete with pavers and added turf. The whole job took less than a week. Def recommend and would use again.

We hired John Masonry and his crew to complete a pretty large, paved patio and a small deck to access our pool. If you want professional, excellent, and fast work for any of your outdoor projects, look no further, John Masonry is your guy. We contacted John through Angi 's List and John came out the same day, Friday two weeks ago to give us an estimate. We discussed what our best option was to replace our 25-year-old deck that took a large part of our yard up. We decided to have on a paved patio around the pool replacing the old deck and to add a small deck to access the pool. Two days later John had his crew start the demolition of the old deck and his crew started installing the pavers and build the new deck. The project was done quickly just shy of two weeks. We were looking to have some work done and John's Masonry filled our needs and then some. They were reasonably priced and were dedicated to getting the job done in a timely manner. We had the following repairs done: Sealing and caulking of the foundation Tuckpointing Repaired/replaced lintels Caulked windows Installed rubberized masonry flashing to prevent water penetration Power washed and sealed the front porch and deck Replaced bricks where needed Treated the efflorescence on the basement walls, scraped, and applied masonry stucco throughout the basement where needed. Painted the basement with loxon masonry paint Dug up a slab of cement to install a drain to fix a pooling of water problem and replaced the entire slab. This team was polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. John was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. They also do roofing.

We are so happy with the work that was done by John and his company. Our front steps were in desperate repair. They were severely cracked and the bottom step had become so steep (10?) because the sidewalk had sunk. They replaced all the steps and leveled off the sidewalk as well as washed and sealed the limestone sides. Now they look great. They also finished the job in a timely manner, in just a couple of days. I would highly recommend John and will use him again if need be!

It was great working with John, they did an excellent job and went well beyond the scope of work that was supposed to be done at no extra cost.

John was great to work with. He was prompt and responsive and helped with my project without pressuring me to do additional work that wasn't immediately necessary. Problems that were critical to fix, such as foundation work and plumbing, were priced reasonably considering the amount of labor I saw his guys put in. Plus, my house looks great! Looking forward to working with his team again

John is a good talker but he is not a man of his word. He says he will guarantee his work but he doesn't. I had a few loose panels on my deck after he left and he never came back, ever. Even after he said he would return. He isn't reliable and he doesn't care about his customers.

John rebuilt our front porch and steps. Did an excellent job with Trex decking nicely framed the steps and railings.

Bricks started to unexpectedly fall from my greystone building. I called John's masonry and they started the next day at a fair price. They did tuckpointing and added limestone caps, removed an inoperable chimini. They were clean and polite. Highly recommend them

John and team were wonderful to work with from day 1. I live in a duplex down and had an issue of water leaking through the masonry and roof into my primary bedroom. Initially it was difficult for me to pinpoint what was causing the leak, but John was able to inspect the masonry and roof (roof is TPO and located under my deck) to identify the problem. They ended up patching the seams of my TPO roof and addressed some masonry issues. I also had them install a new Trex deck that I have been wanting. Everything looked great after they were finished! During the repairs John communicated with me every day and addressed my every question (I had many throughout the process). I would definitely recommend John to anyone who needs someone they can trust to do quality work that meets your specific needs.
