Larry and his team were great to work with. He came out and provided us with a few different options for the job. Once we agreed on what we wanted to do his team was out quickly and completed the job in two days. We also had a weather delay and Larry provided clear updates about when his team would be able to come and complete the work.

Larry was so positive and spoke with me for a very long time when he did the sight visit. He explained everything, took photos (used the photos of where tuckpointing was needed and what he would do to fix each issue.) when he sent me the estimate Work was done the day after agreeing to the estimate. Very happy with the work, it was done really well. I am continuing to work with him on some caulking issues in the gangway he noticed while inspecting the work on the building. I had not even noticed the large cracks between the gangway sidewalk and building. I was getting water in the basement during heavy rain storms. Very confident to have him to fix this issue before the spring rains.

Super professional. They came out twice for estimates. Explained all the work, provided pictures and videos and worked with us on our budget constraints.

Larry was great! He provided us with an explanation of costs and got us on the schedule quickly. My only complaint was that there was a bit of a mess left that I wished they swept up, but other than that the job looks to be done very well.

I was in need of an inspection of glass block windows and stone work where we thought we were having a potential water issue. Aaron was able to provide an assessment quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company.

Had tuckpointing/waterproofing done on our building (split faced block) as well as painting metal stairs, deck staining, & sealing on garage roof. Larry was very communicative throughout the process with daily phone calls, visits, etc. They had very reasonable quotes/prices, friendly & respectable employees, recommended additional work/areas of concern while on the property, worked quickly but efficiently, respected property & kept the areas clean, etc. Very pleased with Johns Affiliafed Roofing & Masonry, would recommend, & use them in the future if necessary!

Johns Affiliated Roofing & Masonry provided a fair and honest estimate, and high-quality work. I was happy with their professionalism, and their ability to do both tuck-pointing and roof work. Larry was responsive, pro-active and explained the details of the estimate. His crew discovered additional structural issues as the job was progressing that were addressed at the same time with reasonable additional cost. The crew was tidy, respectful of my neighbors, and took pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company, and plan on using them for future roofing/tuck-pointing work.

They came out the same day that I requested contractors, gave me a clear assessment and fair estimate, and did the work quickly and well. They were very professional.

I have had various repairs done to my roof over the years and this company gave very sound reasons for the continued issues I was having and I had great confidence in the solutions they suggested. Unfortunately, it has been challenging to get them to commit to returning to complete minor repairs after countless calls and text messages.

The team was great and they were able to fix multiple problems which was nice because I did not have to hire 2 to 3 different contractors to take care of Tuckpointing and roof and masonry work . I will be hiring them again.

We hired Johns to fix a roof issue we were having as well as tuckpoint and fix all of our lintels (which were causing water to come into our house) and reseal the brick/block. We also had them rebuild and put siding on a small area of our house. The work went well, scheduling was easy and the only issues we encountered were rain delays (but having the work done in May/June that s what we expected). They completed it all in a timely manner (it was a lot of work!) and were quick to address issues we were having with additional water coming in. They made sure to explain to us along the way what the issues were and kept us informed of any price increases due to unexpected issues with our house. Overall we are very pleased with the work done and felt like they were very understanding of our budget, timeline, etc. Definitely recommend!

Great communication throughout the process and a can-do mentality instead of huffing and puffing. Available and expedient with skilled craftsmen-artisians. With masonry, things need to stand the test of time and we will reevaluate the quality of the work in 2022.
