JE Construction

I'm in the same boat as the other people who gave bad reviews. I hired these contractors to build a new deck and canopy due to heavy snow causing deck canopy to collapse. This happened in Jan 2024. JE Construction responded to my request right away. Gave them the $750 deposit. Kept giving them more money. Claim was approved by my insurance in Nov 2024. I was promised work would be started right away. Here is where false promises started to occur. First they were not able to start because of the weather. They kept with the same excuse until April 2025. More money given to them hoping they would start. Only showed up for an hour or so to tear down deck. The longest they were here was a few hours to get the rest of deck demolished in June. They returned inJuly to pour cement where the beams will be. I was promised they would be here this past Saturday to start building frame .No show as always. Just lies. Here I am in August with no deck, thousands of dollars later. Total fraud!

After submitting a request through Home Advisors I immediately received a call from Tony Pxxxxxx and Emily Txxxxxx from JE Construction. They came to give me a quote for work to be done on my back porch and a proposal was signed and deposit given on Nov 1, 2024. Additional items were added to the original quote and additional money was paid. To date most of the work agreed upon as not been completed and cannot get a response from either owner. The work that was done is subpar and incomplete. Please advise how HomeAdvisors can assist with this as we hired this contractor from your website.

Jose and his crew fixed our concrete driveway. Rather than removing the entire driveway, they solved a way to keep it good as new. Pricing was fair, didn’t upsell. Great customer service.

Do yourself a favor and avoid JE Construction like the plague. The owner, Tony [Provider Name Removed], and his wife, Emily, talked a good game. They came out immediately after I called and gave me a quote. I asked him if he could repair some boards and a window on my garage. He said yes, but hen said he was two weeks behind because of the rain. We signed a contract on 4/9/25 and I gave him a 1,000 deposit. After four weeks I called him back and asked when he was coming. He promised it would be completed by the end of the 5th week. Week five came and went. No call from him. No text message. I called him again after week 7. He again promised to have it done by the following week. He dropped off a window, some wood boards and ripped off some siding in my garage which left a gaping hole that animals could not come in and out of. He didn?t even bother to try and block off the hole or even tell me about it. Just left it sitting there wide open. But once again, he did not show up.

We contacted JE Construction to rebuild our deck. Here are the pros and cons from our experience. Pros: the price was reasonable, the work started quickly, the owner generally answered his phone when called, and the craftmanship was good. Cons: The owner frequently would promise to show up and didn?t; he would not call us to let us know he wasn?t coming, and his excuses were not credible (e.g., he would say he didn?t come because of weather forecasts that were not true). When confronted about this, he would simply make more promises that he again didn?t keep. And as time dragged (for months), he occasionally showed up for an hour or two, and then disappeared. He would always promise to finish the next time he came, but then did not. The worst part was his attitude toward us. He never accepted responsibility for his behavior, and we had to keep pursuing him to finish the job. It was clear that he saw us and treated us as the problem.

Highly recommend. Tony stopped to give an estimate the same day. His team did a great job on my deck and stairs. We will be having them do more projects in the future.

They reinstalled posts on my fence & painted the fence , they went above & beyond to ensure the stability of the fence , looks new. After hired this company to install flooring, beyond happy with quality, professional, my flooring is absolutely beautiful.

We hired JE to redo our drive way. Tony was immediately responsive and a straight shooter. There were some unforeseen issues beyond Tony's control. Tony handled everything efficiently and professionally. The final product looks fantastic. He was also exceptionally kind to my child! I wish more companies operate business the way Tony does.

Tony responded to my request within ten minutes he was in my hous in half an hour we signed the deal with him in less than an hour Him his wife answered all my calls and all my questions work was done perfectly more than expected his crew did amazing job the driveway looks great Thanks Tony and Emily and the whole crew amazing job I canâ t thank you enough

JE Construction is a great company to do your home projects. We had a deck cover repaired and it turned out great. All of the men are hard working and very knowledgeable. They have a great attention to detail and are extremely accomadating. We would not hesitate to call them again.

They came out quickly in response to the request for an estimate, and the estimate was right in line with what we projected. They scheduled the work only 10 days out. The job was done well, and Tony's suggestions were very helpful. Quality work, easy pay process, all around great job. We would definitely hire JE Construction again.

Tony came to install bed frame slats to stabilize two beds. He explained the project and how it would work. the work was performed very well and in a very timely manner and the price was very reasonable.. he put both mattresses back on the beds. he also asked for my opinion on how the final product performed and I was very pleased Definite 5 stars

I had a deck project and came across Tony and Emilyâ  s construction company. Tony, Emily, Jose and rest of his team are professional and did an exceptional job. He went above and beyond to see the job was done professionally and he made sure to leave no stone unturned. Tony is very honest, fair at his work and advice. This is my first horrible experience with Angie. I don?t mind paying more as long as I have peace of mind. But this Tony guy did not complete the job, did not respect the contract, took all of my money, threatened me and left. Taking him to court.
