Beware. Dusan took my money and did not complete the job. He owes me $4,600 for unfinished work and has stopped responding to all forms of communication. I hired his company to complete a bathroom remodel for me. We signed a contract that indicated the work would take 2 weeks to complete. After 2.5 months of waiting for the project to be finished, I was forced to hire another company to finish. They completed the work in a week. They found faults in the electrical wiring that Dusan?s team had done which had to be corrected because it wasn?t to code. They also fixed a lot of issues with the skim coating of the drywall which was not done well. Do not hire this company if you want your project done properly and in time. Photos represent how they left the job the last time they were here. Note that the shower work was done by another installer.

Dusan and his team were really easy to communicate with. We hired them to paint our new condo on a tight moving schedule and they were able to work with us and get the work done on time. Dusan was transparent about pricing and added material cost. He did an excellent job painting our kitchen cabinets and covering a stubborn previous paint job. Highly recommended!

Hired J. Family Design to paint our entire condo and they did a superb job. Extremely communicative, could start whenever we needed them to, and very pleasant/professional crew. Dusan arrived on time, gave a quick assessment and scheduled the paint job later that week! While I wish I could have received a cost estimate before an on-site visit, I understand that itâ  s more accurate if he sees it in person first and I did appreciate the feedback on whether water damage required new drywall or just paint.

We hired J Family Design to clean and re-stain our porch and stairs. They were extremely responsive and provided advice on other work that needed to be done. They always arrived on time and provided updates throughout the project. The porch and fence they painted look great.

Highly recommend. I had a paint emergency (yes these exist) and needed a paint and patch completed in two days. Dusan was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire project. He was able to pull the job together quickly and at the highest quality. I am very happy with their work and would definitely use them again.

It is refreshing to find a team that really cares about its work. J Family Design does things the old-fashioned way, with a European work ethic. No crooked corners, no bumps attention to detail with drywall is tops. But beyond paint and drywall, these workers are skilled at carpentry and specialty painting, including refinishing cabinets. With Dusan Jelic at the helm, they can tackle challenging jobs in a professional way with excellent results. Plus, they are a pleasure to work with. Their pricing is on the higher side... but, you get what you pay for.

J Family Design did plaster/painting work and refinished a bathroom for me. They definitely have pride in the quality of their work. I was surprised by how helpful they were with design suggestions. Several times, they nudged me in the right direction which I very much appreciated. Looking for someone to knock out a project in a pragmatic manor? J Family Design would be a good match. Fair prices and well intended contractors...

The proposal was received quickly soon after our initial consultation The project was reasonably priced and negotiated to exactly what I needed. The workmanship was high-quality and thorough. The team of workers was very courteous, helpful, on-time and cleaned up during any after the project. They completed the work in a couple of days, and worked around the needs of my business. I would use and recommend J Family Design again!
