They are just superb.  What I like about them is that they don't have any gimmicks.  They have just honest, reliable service.

I have used Jand A for about 7 years for all my carpet and upholstery cleaning. Ron and his son always work around my busy schedule and are prompt and friendly and really easy to work with. I have had some bad stains, including black printer ink and blood from a home injury and they were able to get them out. On one occasion I had a question about whether a stain was completely out, after they left. I called them and they offered to come back the next day and make sure it was out. But the stain disappeared overnight, after their original cleaning.

Ron and Adam arrived on time on the scheduled date. Initially, I thought they were very professional. They did a nice job cleaning the carpets in terms of removing the dirt and stains. So much in fact, that once finished, all the carpets were wavy and completely stretched out. One could practically surf on them. Instead of calling immediately once they noticed what was happening, the proceeded to finish the entire job, thus, damaging all carpets.
I was in complete shock when I saw the finished product. All the carpets were damaged. I had to call in a professional company and paid another $250 to pull them out. I've had these carpets cleaned several times in the past and nothing like this has ever happened. Their machines have excellent suction... what can I say.
I had a tenant moving into the unit later that day and still needed to finish getting the apartment ready. I expressed my disappointment to Ron and he did not seem to care in the least. He said that there was nothing he could do as the carpets were not properly installed. Be that as it may, this has never happened before, and I should have been immediately notified when he noticed the problem. I went ahead and paid him in full, and he was out the door.
This was the most expensive and frustrating experience I've ever had with a carpet cleaning company. I will never use them again.

Family owned company very responsible. They don't throw in extra stuff that needs done. Their prices a very reasonable.

J and A Cleaning has been cleaning our carpets, furniture (both fabric and leather) and area rugs for over 10 years. They worked with us when we lived in a condo in downtown Chicago and (thankfully!) have been willing to travel to the western suburbs when we moved to a house. I don't know how they do it but their pricing has hardly changed over the years that they've been doing our cleaning. They are WONDERFUL to work with - friendly, very responsive, professional, efficient and excellent at what they do! Everytime they clean for us, it's like we have new carpets and furniture! We have 2 young kids + 2 cats = lots of "messes". The only stains that Ron and Adam have not been able to remove was one carpet stain (of unknown origin) that predated our move into the house. They spend a lot of time working on stains and do an amazing job at extracting water from the carpet - the carpets are almost dry by the time they leave! I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

My experience with this company was fantastic. Ron worked patiently with me to get an appointment coordinated with my busy schedule and always called back promptly. They showed up on time, and Ron came out as well to oversee the job. They were very professional and achieved amazing results. My carpets and sofa look like new! They were able to get out almost every challenging stain that we had. I would highly recommend this company, and will definitely work with them again.

They were excellent! They arrived promptly, were polite, and the job was done thoroughly. I was incredibly pleased with service.
