 + -1 moreIt was a very easy process working with Impressionist Homes from start to finish. We went to them with a list of improvements we wanted to make to the building, they gave us quotes for the work and then we contracted with them to begin the work. Throughout the process Impressionist Homes also made sure to keep us aware of any other issues they came across in the building; which as a new owner of the building, it was very helpful to have someone looking out for those issues.
Description of Work: Restoration and renovation to an old apartment building and coach house. This included restoring masonry, installing coping, fixing a roof, and interior and exterior painting.

 + 0 moreThey were great! Their sub-contractors were respectful, diligent and very skilled workers. The damaged custom trim was replaced and it matches perfectly. The shelves were replaced and you can't tell they were ever removed. The house looks just like it did before the storm... actually it looks better. Robert was onsite each morning when the sub-contractors arrived. He returned throughout the day to monitor their progress and he and his crew cleaned up after themselves each evening. It was a very long project but his portion moved quickly and they finished a week early.
Description of Work: Water entered through the scubbers and roof of the house during the 11" rain storm over the summer. The water worked its way to the basement level and sat there for a few weeks. The basement is finished but not used so the damage wasn't discovered until it began to smell like mold. We called in a mold remediation team and discovered damage on both sides (north and south) and all four levels of the home. We lost the drywall, custom trim and insulation in each area. We also lost the carpet in the basement. The built in cabinets in the basement had to be removed and the wall behind them had to be repaired. The house was a disaster once the remediation team was finished removing the mold. They did a great job but there were few walls left untouched by the time they left. I called Impressionist Homes and requested a quote for the repairs. They came out right away and were able to begin work within 1-2 weeks.
