Ignite Chimney & Fireplace

The $190 inspection fee seemed a bit steep, but I was very satisfied - the pro knew everything about my fireplace make/model and provided a very informative tutorial on everything I needed to know. Thanks Ignite!!

Nice people nice work

We own a 100+ year old home in the Pilsen neighborhood. In the dead of winter and temps in the low teens we experienced some draft issues with the chimney, which stopped the furnace from working. After calling several companies for an emergency same day visit Allen at Ignite was the only one that was able to make it happen. He came out and determined the chimney bricks/mortar inside were crumbling and clogged the flue, preventing proper draft. He was able to remove the blockage and get us up and running that same day. He also provided a quote to reline the chimney at a later date once the weather allowed. With the warmer temps recently, Allen scheduled the job and came out with his team to install the liner on 1/13/22. The job wasnâ t as straight forward as he hoped, having to open up an access hole on the first floor to remove an area of brick for the new liner to pass through. He kept us informed through the entire process, showed us everything once the job was complete and cleaned up nicely. The price was fair for the work that was performed. We would definitely recommend Ignite and use them again if need be.
