I paid the fee, had an initial meeting, but never heard back with a formal quote.

From start to finish, I feel the project went very well. Kamil was responsive to emails and was on time for our initial consultation. The team was always there when they said they would be (7 AM) and did their best to confine the mess and keep things tidy. This was my first experience with remodeling anything and I think my only advice would be to always ask questions and be clear about what you want! Kamil would usually tell me what the team planned to work on from day to day and that is very helpful for the homeowner to know what info they need to be clear on each day. My communication with Kamil was easy and effective and I preferred to go through him (since he's the one I'm paying!) whenever I had any questions about the work. He is a contractor so he uses other guys to complete different tasks but this seemed pretty seamless to me. The project cost estimate was much more reasonable than the one other quote I got, but I was responsible for providing materials. This initially felt very overwhelming, but I did lots of browsing to decide what I wanted and, with the help of a design consultant (2 hour session), managed to settle on things that I'm now very happy with! The project completion estimate was 2-4 weeks and I think we went 5 weeks in the end. Not a huge deal for us and I'm told it always takes longer than you think! Overall, I'm very happy with how the project turned out and I would hire Kamil and his crew for future work for sure!

Kamil and his team are punctual, professional, responsive, and excellent at what they do. My project wasn't easy, and we had a lot of minor obstacles arise. Kamil found solutions for everything, and was incredibly patient in dealing with all the glitches we hit. At the end of the remodel, the bathroom looked even better than I'd hoped it would. I would highly recommend Ideal Remodeling, and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for another project.

They did about half of the job and then said they were out of time--that I could pay for more time if I wanted them to continue. I did not! They did a very sloppy job and all of it had to be redone. I think this is the basic problem with Angie's List--you get people in with the "deal" but you can almost never get anything done unless you pay for more time and services.

1. Appointment was set in January saying it might change by 1 or 2 days but they did not come for whole week. Then I was traveling so couldn't schedule. 2. Cutting drywall manually instead of using electric reciprocating saw. What is the purpose of hiring drywall specialist? 3. 30 min break for 2-people (1 Hr) was used from purchased time. This is not listed in his offer. 4. Bathroom light fixture is too low and mirror will not fit below that. Not professional work. 5. I asked not to clean at the end of 1st day so next day they can just continue but they continue to use hours purchased. 6. Offer says 1 person but on phone and Angie's List message says they do not offer that. 7. Left my project unfinished and took new project without contacting me. 8. Unused hours will be lost. 9. I had 4x8 FT drywall and told them to cut exact ceiling but they did small pieces. Now ceiling looks uneven. I purchased 20 Hrs of drywall work which offer says can be only used for business hours. Even with 2 people 8 hours it will take more than 1 day business day for sure. I purchased offer for drywall specialist not painters. Now I am without light in the kitchen and bathroom. :(

Ideal remodeling was very flexible and accommodating to our ever-changing schedule. They were able to do all of the work in a day for a very reasonable price. Would def use them again in the future!

His team was on time every day. They worked very quickly, and cleaned up every night. They stayed right on schedule so our move in date was perfect. His team was very professional and extremely nice. Our home was completely transformed and receives tons of raves. We highly recommend Ideal Remodeling.

It went great. Kamil was always very responsive, easygoing, and open to our ideas. And he had great suggestions for how to make the most of the space we had to work with. His team was always punctual and hardworking. The project took a little longer than we originally thought, but this wasn't a problem for us. This is an old house, so we expected to run into a few issues. We were very happy with the end result.

We bought one of those Angie's List Big Deals and will not do it again. The deal was for 8 hours of painting with one guy or 4 hours for 2 guys. The job was for a very small hallway and the stairs leading up to it. One of the guys worked on that and the other was supposed to paint some doors. It was clear from the start that the guys doing the painting, nice as they were, were not professional painters. They were sloppy, left paint smudges all over our floors and brush streaks in the door--yes, in 4 hours, only one door was painted by the guys who was doing that part. Maybe we just aren't lucky with the Big Deals, but in our experience, the people who come waste precious time either explaining in detail that is not necessary what they are going to do which we already know because we hired them to do the work, and before you know it, the job is only partially completed, and you have to shell out double or triple what you thought! That would have happened here, but we were able to finish the work ourselves. The job we had was simple. Because I usually do the painting in our house, I know how long it takes to paint. I couldn't do this one because of the stairs. One other thing about that: time was also wasted because they didn't bring their scaffold even though I TOLD them ahead of time what they were going to be doing so they had to run to another town to get the scaffold from another job. Thanks but no thanks...

The did an extremely fast and neat job. I was very happy with their work.

Fantastic. Kamil made sure everything was on point.

It went very well. He promised to deliver on a certain date and he did !
He gutted my whole bathroom., put a tarp on the floor from the bathroom to the side door to keep the wooden floor clean ( I was impressed )
He re-tiled my shower walls and bathroom floor, installed a new toilet and sink, replaced my toilet in the basement with the one being replaced. Had corner shelves put in the shower and installed the shower door. He replaced the door hinges as well as the door knobs and installed a new ventilator with a light on the ceiling as well as the other accessories like medicine cab, assist bars and wall vent, etc.
Above all, Pete's assistant saved the day ! The company I contacted to re-glaze my bathtub never got back to me when it counted and his assistant offered to do the job. The shower doors could not be installed until the bathtub was done - Oh what a Heaven sent !
As far as I'm concern I give Pete an A for his performance and professionalism. For those who have given him an F it should not be taken seriously, as there was no dealing whatsoever. You made a call that was not responded to - well, try again !!

First, let me say I value and appreciate the Ideal Remodeling team lead by Kamil.  Kamil and team proved to be very attentive and flexible while working through my projects.  The full team was professional, respectful and talented.  Beginning with the proposal process, which was timely and efficient, I felt comfortable with Kamil.  During the full project, the team arrived each day on time and worked full days. The finished product is beautiful and I am very happy with the work provided by the Ideal Remodeling team. 

During any remodel or construction project there is going to be issues and delays.  For my job, most delays had nothing to do with the Ideal team; yet Kamil and team offered suggestions and assistance to work around and/or resolve.  Their ability to remain even keel and professional is much appreciated during any remodel.

I originally contracted Ideal Remodeling for only the remodel and tile work.  But halfway through these projects, I became more impressed with Kamil and crew.  Given the earned level of trust and their workmanship, I cancelled my planned painting contractor and gave the painting job to Kamil and the Ideal team also.  Our unit is approximately 3000 square feet with full crown moldings in all rooms.  The paint job included a detailed design plan and required attentive focus. The finished work is impressive.  Additionally, a leading member of the team, Martin, installed complicated tile work to walls that fully meant my high expectations. 

Kamil and the Ideal team also back up their offer to provide follow-up work if needed.  We completed all work prior to moving into our new space.  After move-in, Kamil and team returned to touch up walls marked by moving company and also address a few final punch list items.  I trust if any future issue arises relating to work performed, Kamil and Ideal will address in the same professional manner as demonstrated during the projects.

If I have any future remodel or construction needs, I will not hesitate to call upon the Ideal Remodeling group!

We had a great experience working with Ideal Remodeling. The quality of work was excellent, and Kamil is very easy to work with. The quote and contracting process was simple, and their contract is straightforward and easy to understand. 
The job took longer than anticipated, but this was partially because we increased the scope of the work and partially because we have an older house. and they had to do some additional work once they got behind the walls. 
Kamil and his guys are great about paying close attention to details (making sure everything is even or level). Kamil was also really patient and answered any questions we had or explained processes to us, since it was our first major home renovation project. They were also very respectful of our home and cleaned up the work space at the end of every day.
We plan to use them again, and have already recommended them to a few of our friends.

My husband and I thought  Kamil and his crew were great. Kamil was always very attentive and responsive, and they were always reliable and on time. They addressed all of our concerns throughout the project and made sure that the work was done to our satisfaction. During the remodel, Kamil and his crew noticed that we had some other issues going on with water coming into our basement and they worked with us to fix the issue. Additionally, Kamil went above and beyond by helping me fix a rain gutter on the side of the building which was really helpful! We will definitely use this company in the future and would absolutely recommend using them.
