It went very well.  For the fraction of the cost of having prodfessionals come in to rod the tree roots, I was able to do it myslef.  The rental had more than adequate time allowance to complete the task.  The machine was in great condition and easy for an amateur to operate.
I will be doing annual preventive maintenance3 on my sewer lines using a Home Deport rental in the  future.

This was a frustrating process. After debating on floors for weeks, we finally decided to go with these gorgeous hardwood floors we found at Home Depot. We were talking with a sales associate and he led us to believe that these floors were in stock. After further talking we realized that he meant that they would need to be ordered. We told him we needed the floors right away because they needed to be installed ASAP. He told us that he could have them at the store the next day by 7 P.M. He wrote up the order and we took the flooring that was in stock and paid. The next day at 7 P.M. we went back for the rest of the floors and were told that they were not there, and they had no idea when they would be in. Furious, I called and asked to speak with a manager about the floors. The manager told me he would call me back in 15 minutes with an answer. 45 minutes later, I received a call back from the manager letting me know that they had the floors and they had been at the store for over an hour. We went back and picked up our flooring. We most likely would not return to this store for flooring options, but would return for other things if they were not at any other home improvement store.

It went very well. There were surprises. The workers discovered that our sub-floor was partially rotten (we live in an older home). They had the wood on hand to install it and so were able to meet the deadline they promised.

Nightmare. Salesman promised only Home Depot contractors, no subcontractors, and a Home Depot supervisor. Crew arrived on time the first day, the work seemed fine, but they left a mess and a pack of cigarette butts all over my front lawn and the was no sign of the Home Depot supervisor. The next day, the only workers who showed were a very, very youthful non-English speaker who swore a lot, and his very, very youthful co-worker with a grasp of English. Again, no supervisor. They worked on the sides and back of the house. I had to argue with them to get the downspout in the correct place because it meant they had to get more material, and they absolutely trashed my yard. They never picked up anything smaller than a bread box, and didn't have their own broom. They wanted me to sign off on the job before they had finished or cleaned up anything. Later I found gutter clips nailed into nothing. I did 90% of the clean-up. And to top it off, some flashing blew off the side two months later.

I ordered blinds from them, special order, and had a coupon which they forgot to add on to the order. This in itself wasn't that bad, but the way they handled it from there was awful. They screwed up my order, double charged me for several items without me knowing, and a month later I'm still trying to get my money back. Not to mention while I was there, I heard at least two people loudly complaining because they weren't being helped. Everyone there was completely unprofessional, quite the opposite experience I've had at other Home Depots. I would never go back.

TOOK TIME TO GET ORDER CORRECT. GREAT TURN-AROUND TIME AND PRICING. QUALITY BETTER THAN OTHER PRODUCTS AT SAME PRICE POINT FROM OTHER STORES.
