Herrington Carpet Cleaners

I thought it was good.  I liked them.  I guess the price was OK.  I don't really remember.  Quality was good, responsiveness was good, punctuality was good, and professionalism was good.  I've already used them twice.

I made an dog vomit-related SOS call to Herrington Carpet Cleaners this morning and they were at my door in under 2 hours. I have used Herrington 6-8 times over the past decade and without fail they have provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Herrington is a several generation family-owned business dedicated to a level of quality, personal service and attention to detail that is virtually unheard of today. Unlike all those chain store service companies, with Herrington Carpet Cleaners you deal with the owners at each stage of the process!

I'll be honest; I'm a Gen-Xer who likes to book my services online from a nifty website. This place is not one of those types because you do have to call up. It's a family-run business. This should not dissuade you from using their services! The grandson arrives with his colleague, and they notice the fringes on the rugs and ask to take them back to their shop and specially care for them. I agree to this plan, and they provide a due date in one week. The grandson arrives as scheduled with all three rugs and offers to lay them out and position them properly. He even plans to put back our rug pads. This type of attention to detail is exquisite service. He does this for all three rugs. As the grandson said, "rug servicing is in my blood!" The rugs came back more vibrant than I expected! My husband said it was like a new rug. And, on the few spots of stains that he could not remove, he was honest with identifying on the outset. My experience is that usually they wait and see if I notice before they remark. In short, the "old school" method of business was a leap of faith for me, but well worth it. The prices were excellent and the attention to detail was exquisite. I hope that I don't have to use them very often (because it means my rugs are getting dirty quickly!) but I would recommend them to everyone in the Chicago area so that they can have a great service experience.

Great!

They did a great job.  I thought my son ruined our sofa, but they were able to get the stains out and it looks great!  I am so shocked that the stains came out.  Herrington's services were very professional, prompt and provided great results.  I will definitely use them again.

The work was done by true professionals. They showed up on time! They set up there equipment. They cleaned the carpets. Suggested we not walk on the carpet for two hours.

The work was performed very well. The Herringtons completed the cleaning in 45 minutes, were well organized and very nice to do business with.

TOM HERRINGTON & HIS SON WERE ON TIME--THEY CLEANED 2 TERRIBLY DIRTY OFF-WHITE SOFAS AND THEY LOOK ABSOLUTELY BRAND NEW--THE WORK WAS FABULOUS AND THEY ARE VERY NICE GUYS, AS WELL. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM IN A HEARTBEAT FOR UPHOLSTERY AND CARPET CLEANING.
