Excellent work. Customer service a bit on the gruff side. Good selection of woods, and they were willing to work with us to replicate woodwork used in our 100 year old house so that we could fill in lost areas.

THEY CARRY DIFFERENT SPECIES OF HARDWOOD THAN YOUR TYPICAL LUMBER YARD. FOR EXAMPLE, I SAW (DID NOT PURCHASE) AFRICAN MAHOGANY. HARDWOOD RESOURCES CAN CUSTOM CUT WOODWORK, IF NECESSARY, TO TRY TO MATCH EXISTING ANTIQUE/PERIOD WOOD. THE SELECTION THEY HAVE IN STOCK FOR A LOT OF OLDER CHICAGO HOMES IS GREAT. I WAS ABLE TO MATCH OUR DOOR CASINGS FOR OUR 1892 HOME WITHOUT PLACING A CUSTOM ORDER. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND LOVE THEIR BUSINESS.
