The absolute worst contractor group I have ever worked with. They clearly used leftover construction equipment in the entire apartment. The two closets they built out literally fell out of the wall. The cabinets in the kitchen aren't even or installed well, and it is literally a joke. I have seen the owner of this "company" in the building who is just trying to get people to buy condos and create a monopoly of rentals with terribly executed renovations. He is pathetic.

RUN AWAY.  Haroon seems very nice and professional when first meeting him.  He was referred to us by our building engineer and had remodeled a unit similar to ours in our new building and he gave us a tour of the the newly remodeled unit, so that was a big selling point.  Our unit had AWFUL popcorn ceilings that we weren't sure how to deal with, and it looked like his company could smooth them out correctly.  He took quite awhile to actually send us his estimate and contracts which worried me a little, but since he was familiar with our building and did a nice job on the unit we saw, we still decided to go with him.
The remodel was for a 2/2 (both bathrooms fairly small).  Overall quality of the work was pretty good.  One of the things I was very unhappy about was that he agreed to make our breakfast bar 10 inches long so we could fit bar stools under it so it would actually be functional. They ran out of granite, which is understandable, but he didn't call us or contact us in anyway about making the breakfast bar smaller than we had talked about and just installed what they had.  The end result is a counter that is about an inch out from the wall, and is unusable for an eating space.  I asked him in writing several times, and over the phone several times as well to give an estimate to how we could fix the problem.  He would ignore that part in emails and answer the rest or say he was checking on it. I finally talked to him on the phone and he agreed that I was right that he should communicate better and was sorry.  He used the phrase "completely right" several times.  Never got an answer about fixing the granite though.
My biggest complaint is the lack of communication.  How many times do you need to email somebody or call somebody to get them to answer you?  With Haroon, apparently it's something similar to how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.
We wanted to go through our final walk through and do the final touch ups and again, had contacted Haroon several times.  We tried to be very nice and understanding throughout the whole process but by the third or so email, I said please let us know by this date (probably about two days after said email) and got a reply back that he was "sorry" and had another deadline.  I then replied that he was past our deadline and wish he cared about our deadline as well, even if we weren't his largest clients.  Didn't hear back from him for about a month and a half.  Finally heard back from him and he claimed someone in his family had health issues.  He has a secretary...she could have contacted us and I would have been much more sympathetic.  But to not contact us at all was very unprofessional and I have no sympathy and frankly don't know if I can believe his claim.
He is claiming that we are delinquent in our final payment which was supposed to paid upon completion of the project.  The project was never completed and we were never invoiced.  He is also trying to add extra costs in addition to what was contracted - including double charging us for the granite.
