I have used Gus Herrera & Sons Landscaping for years. They are prompt, efficient, they do a good job, and they clean up after themselves. Their price is good. It is like $15 a week. How are you going to find someone who is going to mow your lawn, rake, and clean up after themselves for $15 a week. I would give them an A+ overall.

The workers were prompt and punctual but destroyed our yard and mowed away to dirt...what little grass we had. The workers spoke no english and when we complained to management, nothing was done to rectify the situation.

They are good with grass and lawns, but if you want any perennials around flower beds, they are not the best group to use. We were not happy or pleased with our flowers at all. Perennials take a little work.

Unreliable - did not even have the courtesy to follow up and tell me status after telling me they would. Would not recommend them given how much of my time they wasted without following up.

I called the company for an estimate for spring clean up and possible removal and replacement of two shrubs in the front yard. We also wanted an estimate to remove the grass from a shady area at the back of the building and replace the grass with ground cover. Oscar was prompt in returning my call. He came out the next morning so I could explain what we wanted. He was on time for our meeting; very nice and professional. I received a detailed written estimate within a week. Our condo association also had two other estimates from other landscaping companies. Gus Herrera & Sons was not the lowest estimate, but it was the most detailed and professional of the three which is why the condo association agreed to hire them. They did a good job with the spring clean up. The condo association has decided to leave the shrubs in the front of the building for now with possible replacement in the fall. Gus Herrera & Sons accepts payment for their services after the work is completed.

We needed sod and mulch for upkeep on our condo building. Their quote was the best we received and additionally, when we had trouble with our sod, they redid it without complaint or added cost. They are wonderful to work with! We are thrilled with how nice it has turned out.
