Doug worked very well with us and our varied and changing selections. Went with us to select the exact plants, found good bargains on his own, flexible to work with and design looks great. Also worked to help supervise the brick walk and patio installation by another contractor and did his own installation of stepping stones and retention walls. Crew was very helpful, as always and thorough. Patient, yet direct. Provided excellent guidance. This was the third time I've used his services for major landscape projects. Would recommend to anyone looking for help with design and installation of Chicago garden and landscaping.

Doug Taylor continues to provide excellent service. He came last week to look at the shrubs that I thought needed replacing either because they died over the summer or because the removal of a neighbor's tree changed our sunlight and they weren't doing well. He came back today with exactly the right plants and a crew to do the work. He really understands our needs and tastes. I highly recommend Greenstone. Haven't got the bill yet. Assume $300-500.

My yard was completely over grown with weeds. I had somebody else to remove the weeds and it was several step processes but this guy became ill and could not finish the job. Greenstone finished the job. They had to pull out all the dead plants and do a thorough yard clean up. They did a wonderful job. It was more than what I wanted to pay. But in talking to other people about landscaping it sounds like he did not charge me the higher end. So if that is true then what he charged me is reasonable. After I resolve the problem which came up, I would call him in the future.

They do a good job. I found them when they were working for our neighbors. Other than that, I found them on Angie’s List too. I would use them again in the future.

Doug did a tremendous job helping us with our landscaping. He is knowledgeable and works in a very consultative style. He's willing to share his opinions, but does so in a gentle and tactful manner. We were extremely pleased with his work.

Doug Taylor had designed our neighbor's garden. At our request, he came and talked to us about our front and back gardens which needed to be totally replaced as did the sidewalks. He had some wonderfully creative ideas. He presented us with designs and was very amenable to changes to suit our needs/tastes. He advised on a company to do the cement sidewalks. Then in early autumn, he took me to the nursery to select individual plants. In October, he came with a crew and planted the shrubs and flower beds. They blossomed this spring and are lovely. By-passers stop and comment on them. Only one plant died over the winter and he will replace it. We couldn't be happier and will continue to use Greenstone for consulting on upkeep, etc.
