Ardi's install went well and he helped me with debug in the days following the install of the my new Ecobee smart thermostat. While here we did a yearly maintenance on my furnace also. Greenleaf is my go to HVAC company for anything I've had to do since moving to Lincoln Square. A key change was made to the furnace config allowing it to no longer over heat and to move air much better in my home after 3+ years with it set incorrectly by (likely) the builder many years ago. Ardi is honest, thorough and always looking to help make your equipment work better.

Greenleaf Mechanical came to the house to provide an estimate to install an efficient furnace in our basement.  He was prompt, courteous and provided estimates for three different furnaces.  We chose to install a 2 stage american standard furnace.  Greenleaf installed the furnace the following week from providing the down payment (50%).  They installed the furnace with a 4" filter and gave us a new basic thermostat to replace our 60 year old one.  They cleaned up nicely and we are satisfied with the work provided.

Superb. Greenleaf Mechanical did an outstanding job installing a ductless mini-split a/c system in my condo at a great price and they stand by their work 110%. Their technical expertise and professional courtesy installing the system was outstanding, as is their annual maintenance to keep the system running smoothly.

Called Greenleaf two weeks ago to tune up both AC units on our two-flat. They did not show up for the first appointment. When we called to complain, they agreed to come out the next day and service the units for free, which they did. They gave them a cleaning and checked the lines and the power. Pressure and power looked good, but they advised that one unit had a capacitor that looked suspicious. They recommended waiting to repair it. This week, the questionable unit broke down. We called Greenleaf to repair it. After arranging an appointment for today, they again didn't show up. We have no plans to make additional contact.

I couldn't be happier with Greenleaf.   From the first return call on the phone it was obvious I found someone knowledgable about both HVAC and the Nest thermostat.  I needed both.   I'd been using my Nest for a few months with mixed results.  Ardi was able to come out, help with the Nest and fix the humidifier.  In debugging the Nest problems, we found further a problem with my furnace over heating and shutting itself off.   We've worked to resolve this issue and made a change to run my dual stage furnace in dual stage mode rather than the default builder setting which just cranks up in single stage and burns money and energy.  He took the time to read the manual which came with the builder grade furnace, find the dip switch setting and improve the efficiency of my heating system.   How often does this happen ?
Greenleaf is tech savvy, uses email invoices and Square credit card processing.  Very nice.
Call Ardi, you won't be disappointed.  He is now my go to guy for all things heating and cooling related.  I should note I'm an engineer and a fairly knowledgable customer but I can assure you based on two visits and their professional service you won't get taken by these folks.  It is a small business run by brothers who won't cheat you as unfortunately I've found all to prevalent in this industry.
