They ruined our floors, took our money and then totally ghosted us. Will not return a call or respond to many text messages. We are faced with completely re-doing everything they did. Do not work with these people.

Gil's crew did a great job on both jobs we hired them for, were able to start and finish the job quickly. He was also able to adapt the jobs when changes were needed (we originally thought we'd be refinishing the stairs before we removed the carpet.) They also didn't have any problems with installing floors we found from another source. They were not always the most punctual but do great work.

Overall, I was extremely pleased and very satisfied that I went with Gil's Flooring. He has a small company somewhere in downtown Chicago and had it not been for a referral from one of the drywaller's I would've ended up paying 40% more. The hardwood looks beautiful and I have had so many compliments on the floor. My entire first floor and part of my second floor is all hardwood now thanks to Gil. It truly makes the house look like a million bucks. This is a no brainer - if you're in the Chicagoland area and are in the market for some new floors or simply want to repair the old wood floors call Gil. You won't be disappointed!
