GEOKAT GRANITE

Geokat measurement and office management team were excellent .I found them personable, extremely flexible, and responsive. The product was reasonably priced. They were flexible in putting the deal together . We worked through payment options and other options that were favorable to both Geokat and us.

Our experience with the delivery and installation was less favorable. The Installation team was late by many hours and the attention to detail/cleanup was disappointing.

Overall the countertop quality has been good and we have been happy with our purchase but before i would give a recommendation to a friend i would share the experience of the installation.

Initially I went to Geokat when i saw it off interstate 290 coming back to Chicago.  I stopped in even though I hadn't closed on my condo, knowing I had planned to gut the kitchen.  Beth was awesome, she discussed with me all of the options that they offered for granite.  She even showed me the remnants since I had told her that I had a small kitchen.  I found the granite that I loved in the remnants.  They had a very good selection of remnants, if you're doing a smaller kitchen, bathrooms, tables, or etc. I wasn't sure if the remnant would still be there once I was ready for it after my contractors installed my counter top, but it was still there when I was ready to place an order. Phil came out to my home to measure, and he was very professional and flexible in his scheduling.  Once he gave my measurements to the office they called me that day, and scheduled the installation date, within 5 business days.  The installers came to my home on-time, unloaded the granite and got it in to my condo.  They installed the counter top without difficulty, and it looks beautiful.   All of the staff that I came in contact with from Geokat were very professional, and pleasant to deal with. I have no complaints, and would definitely use them again.
