FRESH MURALS FAUX FINISHES

Description of Work: We met Jeanine at a local home show, and were impressed by her portfolio and professionalism. She suggested a free, in-house consultation to discuss a mural for a plain "bonus room area we have on our second floor. The space was large, and unused, and we envisioned creating a theater or media room out of it. When she arrived, she brainstormed with us, and asked questions about how we'd use the space. She told us she'd work on a sketch proposal for us, and meet again to see if we'd like to work with her. When we met with her next, we were incredibly impressed because she showed us a detailed, colored drawing that made our space look like an exciting theater from the 1930s which included 30 movie stars sitting in the audience. We agreed to work together, and she put us in her upcoming schedule. Once the time for her to begin came, Jeanine spent about 9 days coming to our home, preparing the wall, drawing draft images, researching photos of movie stars, and painting a masterpiece. It was fun watching her create, and we were amazed at the technical precision required in the differerent layers of the mural. In addition to painting 30 stars (e.g Charlie Chaplin, Hitchcock, Paul Newman), she even captured the pattern in our carpet, and lighting from our sconces into the final painting on the wall. It became a seamless transition from our actual theater and the mural itself.
