+ -1 moreThey did a fine job. As asked, they gave me the old frame, should I need it to get my reimbursement from the original framer. The piece is 49 x 34 in., and they charged me $233 (framing only; no matting, glass, etc.). Is this a good price? I have no idea.
Description of Work: I ordered a framed print through the Internet. It arrived with the frame broken. I did not want to send it back (too large of a piece, too time consuming to do, etc.) I checked Angie's List and picked the closest framer, Foursided. They had a good frame selection; I found what I wanted. The job was done before the date they promised (10 days).

+ -1 more1. Wonderful! The selection of frames and mat colors can be overwhelming. What is neat is the basic black metal frames which are very cheap! While I was able to use this frame, the dimensions, layout and matting drove up the cost. Still, most other shops wanted at least $200 to complete the project instead of $160. I was able to walk in and review the work and pick up my framed item. 2. They went the extra mile when the glass was damaged in between the time I inspected the finished product and actually picked it up a few days later. I returned and Foursided gladly replaced the glass at no extra charge and the item was available the next day!
Description of Work: I had two framing projects to be completed: 1. I needed to have three antique Ivory Soap ads from 1917 framed in a triptych layout. The project required a specific type and color of frame, matting and layout. 2. I had an antique Japanese woodblock print that I had purchased online. The print had some water damage (which I knew about prior to purchase) and I was hoping to have the item matted and framed at a reasonable price so that the water damage was hidden, but the artist's signature, print number, and chop mark were still visible.
