The service went very well!  He had to run out and get some materials and since he had a truck, he picked up some drywall for us (this was for a job he wasn't even doing).  He was very nice and easy to work with.  I would recommend this company as well as use them again.

I cannot thank Martin enough for his excellent and very hard work. I originally got Martin's name from a coworker whose carpenter husband knows the quality of his work, and I was very happy to see Martin is on Angie's List as I joined specifically to find a contractor for this project. I got a few bids and chose Martin because he seemed to know his stuff - like that my walls were plaster and lath, not concrete like one contractor said (Martin was right). I live in a 102-year-old, 3rd floor walk-up condo. Martin's crew hauled out 137 bags of demolition debris and a cast iron bathtub weighing hundreds of pounds. I have a completely new, beautiful bathroom to show for it. The job included framing a shower and rerouting the shower plumbing, retiling the floor and part of the walls, painting walls and ceiling, installing a new toilet, vanity, vessel sink, medicine cabinet, exhaust fan with light, towel bars, and new faucet and shower fixtures. Martin said it would take 2 weeks and that's what it took, other than waiting for fabrication of the vanity top and shower slabs which could not be measured until the tiling was done - and waiting for new shower doors because my designer ordered the wrong ones! Still waiting for those, so Martin will be back once more to install them. There were a few small glitches along the way, but Martin has fixed everything to my satisfaction. He gave me great advice on several things along the way. He also had to put up with all my questions and phone calls, as I never had anything remodeled before. This included dealing with my panicked phone call one evening after I did something stupid - he laughed, told me how to fix it as best I could, and assured me it would be ok (it is). Martin and his crew showed up on time every day, never took a break except for lunch, were polite and cleaned up every day. I absolutely would hire him again!!!

Martin arrived on time , assessed the jobs to be completed, kept me informed as everything progressed. Left the house clean & tidy. He was excellent.

I've had Martin from Flynn's Contracting come to my home now a couple of times. Martin is so professional and so nice. He, along with his brother-in-law built a HUGE picture frame for my wall - while this sounds ordinary, the work they did was extraordinary.  The exotic wood I chose was hard to work with and I had some idea of how this would be constructed - but the outcome of this 9 foot by 4 foot picture frame is incredible.  Thereafter, they installed it on my wall, which was no easy feat given the extreme weight and installing the bar for which it hung.  This frame (with the Japanese scroll) is the focal point of my family room.
Martin also figured out this complex issue with my shower head. I was having problems with it and Martin figured out the root cause, took the whole shower component apart - fixed and even replace some pieces.  He exercised such patience,  expecially when a special order was needed for one of the parts.  During this same visit, I asked Martin to help out on a couple of other handyman things - and he was so accomodating.  I am so glad that he is our plumber and can also step up to do other projects.  He's great!
