FloorMax did an excellent job! My new floor is beautiful, they did it on schedule and were very easy to work with. Gregs team was very helpful, especially with putting my furniture back, which I did not expect. These guys are great.

Work was done perfectly and timely. Floor turned out better than I could have imagined. Scheduling, and billing was seamless. I was informed when they would arrive each day and they showed up on time each time. The quote was exact and the estimated time for completion was accurate. They cleaned up each day and were very careful around the rest of our furniture. We will definitely use them for any future flooring needs.

Floormaxx took some pretty questionable floors in my new home and refinished them to perfection. They look brand new and I’m already getting so many compliments on them. Look no further for experienced, professional flooring pros!

FloorMaxx was selected over three other companies. Greg bid the job and was very informative and considerate of my time. He and his crew patched areas left over from a recent remodel / expansion and sanded and refinished ~ 1,000 square feet of oak flooring and stairs. They worked with us with furniture that caused the job to be split by a day so I could move furniture from the old to the new flooring so they could do the second half of the job. The amount of dust from sanding was minimal and very tolerable. Greg and Ana were great to work with. The resurfaced floors look fantastic and you would never know that they were patched. ! I would highly recommend their services.

We hired FloorMaxx to sand and restain our floors in our first home and we are so happy we did. I was firstly impressed that they are self owned and not a chain which made me feel better about the whole process. Ana was great from the beginning all the way to completion of the project. Her husband Greg was fantastic as well and you can tell he really knows what he is doing and wants your floors to turn out beautiful. They not only did amazing work, they also were the most reasonably priced flooring experts we could find! They treat you like family and it shows in their work. I would recommend them to friends, family, and strangers looking for beautiful flooring!

I really wish I was writing a 5-star review. We did our homework, got multiple quotes, and read all of the reviews on this company. Unfortunately, the finished product did not live up to the 5-stars we were expecting. Honestly, I would still have given a 3-star review, but I have been waiting for a call regarding the issues with our flooring since December 2020. So where do I start? When I met Greg (owner of FloorMaxx) at my newly purchased condo, he seemed like a really great guy, honest, and really involved in his work and his team. Unfortunately, Greg was only in my condo to do the quote, and then (and only because I had to ask), he came and helped me flip my granite table back over after his guys placed it upside-down on my counters. At that time, I pointed out waves that are now on my downstairs floor (Greg quickly blamed that on the floors and that the waves were there before -- the downstairs floors were only sanded and stained by Greg team). It is important to mention that there is a large trough/groove sanded across the planks spanning almost the entire room in an upstairs bedroom (new wood installed, sanded, and stained by Greg team). This is unfortunately just the tip of the problems. During the quote, I offered to remove the baseboards and quarter round in the downstairs, prior to starting the project, so they could sand and stain cleanly. Greg assured me that would be a problem and he had special tools to be able to get right up against them without removing them. Now I have a small lip leading up to them and stain and varnish all over my trim. In addition to being all over my trim, the varnish is all over my sliding glass door, stainless fridge, $4,000 stainless stove, and recently installed cabinets (items that I am not really looking to replace or refinish anytime soon). So let just say I am less than pleased with the finished product. To add insult to injury, I was promised (and paid for) 3 coats of the varnish on my floors but based on the timing of when his guys called me to tell me they were done on the final day, they either would not have had time to add a third coat or they did not let it properly dry between coats. I am already seeing light spots on the floor, varnish peeling around a nail at the top of my stairs where it looks like stain and varnish were put on before the wood putty dried. All in all, the job looks like it was rushed by Gre team and Greg was not present to make sure that his team was living up to the 5-star job he promised.

Greg and Ana were fantastic from start to finish. Ana was on point with communication and understand our needs and explain FloorMaxx's process for the project. Greg was prompt with his arrival time and went into detail about the scope of the project. The work was completed quick and was very professional! I enjoyed the finish on our floors. A great perk of hiring them is that there is a clear process from start to finish and their portal is so easy to use. Highly recommend!

The floors look great, the team were pros, and they worked around us.

FloorMaxx did a great job installing hardwood floors in my bedroom to replace carpet. They were efficient and completed the job within the time & estimated charges. Ana coordinated the delivery and all the required forms directly with my condo Property Manager; I did not have to do anything. This company does not sub-contract work. The installer is on site with with team. My new bedroom floors are beautiful and will hire FloorMaxx again when I replace the rest of the floors in my condo.

Gregg and his team were professional and personable. He explained the process before and during the project. Ana did all the leg work with condo association and I know it’s not easy. He promised perfect floors and that’s exactly what I got. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Greg and his team were great. We had 4 estimates done and while Greg was not the cheapest option, he was the most knowledgeable and addressed aspects of the project that we had not considered and that no other companies mentioned. Greg provided clear pricing breakdowns in his estimate, which was appreciated. The floors looked amazing when we returned. The team did a great job giving really old beat up floors new life. It looked like we had replaced our floors rather than just refinished them. Also, the condo was so clean after! We did agree to some custom trim work the morning the work began and did not settle on a price for that work before leaving so we were a little surprised by that cost on that final bill. Remember to put numbers on paper for all aspects of the job so that there are no surprises. Regardless, Greg and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend FloorMaxx to anyone for their flooring needs.

Our floors turned out awesome. I had an area of the floor that was damaged and it now looks like new. Very professional , they spent time going over the whole process. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Excellent experience with the whole team. I reached out to several companies that didn t return my calls. They called me within 10 minutes of going on Angies List. They were half the price of another company I called for my hardwood floors to be stained. They came out within 7 days and finished two bedrooms in one day. There was no smell bc of the water based product they use to refinish and I could sleep in my room that that night. Highly recommend using them!
