Through fraudulent practices, they tried to pressure me into doing unnecessary work. I asked for four small items: new windshield wipers, new headlights, oil change and put air in the tires. At the time I dropped off the car, the "check tire pressure" light was on. I told them I was going on a road trip next week on vacation and asked them to let me know if they notice anything serious I should resolve before I go. When they called me, they said there was close to $1,000 worth of work I should get done. I said "no thanks", if they're done with the items I asked for, I would like to pick up my car. When I arrived, they told me that my tires were leaking badly and I could skip the other work, but I needed to get the "corrosion on the rims on all of my tires cleaned and sealed" or I wouldn't be safe driving. That sounded ridiculous to me, so I paid the money I owed and took my car. When I left the facility, my "tire pressure light" was still on, so I went back and asked them to fix the air in the tires. They said it couldn't be fixed because my tires are all leaking too much. I asked to speak to the manager and the man I was talking to said he was the manager. After I talked to him for a while longer, he said that sometime you have to drive for a while to have the light go off. So I drove a couple of miles and came back when the light stayed on. This time I refused to leave and asked them to just put enough air in the tires, so that the light would go off. He said it wasn't possible, since the tires were leaking so much. I said I would leave if the tires all had the recommended pressure, if only for a short while. He finally agreed to put air in the tires himself. The recommended tire pressure was 24 psi and all the tires had 27 psi. I asked how it could be that the low pressure light is on, if the pressure isn't low and he explained the light also goes on if the pressure is high. I asked him to get all the tires to 24 psi. He said that would be dangerous with how much they're leaking. I asked him to do it anyway. Once he adjust the pressure the light went off. When I was ready to leave, he asked to show me something. He held the air pressure gauge to one of the tires and said, I just need you to see the serious problem in this tire. The pressure on the gauge was going down by more than 0.1 psi per second. He said the other tires may be alright but this tire is seriously leaking and you should really get this fixed. I told him that I didn't believe him and went home. It is now 24 hours later, so at the rate he showed me, the tire should be completely flat. Now only is it inflated, but the tire pressure light hasn't come back on. They purposefully over-inflated the tires to trigger the "pressure light" and scare me into having unnecessary service. Even after I found out about it, they held the air pressure gauge at an angle to make it seem like the tire was losing air and that I would be in danger.

They did a great job.

They were very good. You could buy the tires from the tire rack which give you a good price and then they just shoot you directly to the tire repair shop to install it for you if you had a price on the website that they agreed. That works very well. It's a nice service and it's a lot cheaper. They have a list of installers.

Quick, fast, friendly. Were only place I could find open on Labor Day!

The overall experience was fine. The waiting room and the entire facility was clean. There was no restaurants or stores in the immediate vicinity. I found that even though the wait was reasonable for what I had done, next time I'll make better arrangements and pass the time more efficiently. There definitely will be a next time.

oI called on a Sunday to ask if they could get me in. I had a flat, but decided to replace all 4 tires, since I had more than 70,000 miles on them. They said yes, but would probably have it done by Monday. I got the quote, accepted, and dropped off the car. I then got a call back from the store informing me that they had misquoted me the wrong tire size. This was resolved, and the larger sized, more expensive but generic brand tire approved. Monday morning, I got a call back saying the re-quote was ALSO wrong, and would have to go even a size bigger. The tires on the car were factory, and I gave the folks at Firestone all of the model info with my first call. I suspect they were just trying to get me into branded tires so they could make more money. Very unprofessional. Oh, and they didn't fix my brake light.

It went well. Both vehicles finished on time and everyone courteous. I have used this location for years and have always been pleased.

Very poor customer service skills. I brought my car in to have my tire repaired, have a car inspectione, and to get a brake estimate. I waited more than 6 hours for these services. Around hour 5 I told them to just give me my car back because I am tired of waiting. They never offered an apology for this. They completed the work okay but I will never (ever) take my car there again even though it is right down the street from my house.

The purchase was fine. But they did not return the lug nuts for the alminum rims for the all season tires. It was too late when I realized that. Those were genuine lug nuts. It cost me $100 plus a lot of time to replace them. If you have to use this store, watch out.

Sometimes they have done ok, but they didn't do a particularly good job. I haven't been really happy with their services. They are ok at fixing flats on old cars, but when they work on new cars they mess it up. Sometimes they are understaffed and you have to make sure that you ask them if they can do the job in a reasonable amount of time. The last time it took a couple of hours. They are courteous, but they don't know what they are doing. If I had a flat by them in my old car I might use them.

They have a very good service there. I think that the price is a little high, but the service makes up for the price. They are very courteous when I go in there.

The work was of good quality and took about three days most of which was finding replacement shocks.

THEY ARE REALLY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING. I BROUGHT MY CAR IN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY WERE ABLE TO FIT ME IN, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE REALLY BUSY.

OVERALL, I WAS PLEASED. THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON HOW MUCH TIME IT WOULD TAKE AND THEY WERE CORRECT. THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT WITHOUT UNNECESSARILY OFFERING TO TOTALLY REPLACE THE TIRE AT A HIGHER COST. IT HAS BEEN A FEW MONTHS AND THE TIRE IS STILL WORKING JUST FINE.

I HAVE NOW DEALT WITH THIS FIRM FOR TWO YEARS, AND HAVE BEEN TOTALLY SATISFIED. THEY ARE VERY HONEST AND DO AN EXCELLENT JOB OF EXPLAINING PROBLEMS AND OPTIONS FOR REPAIR. THE BEST REPAIR SHOP I'VE FOUND IN THE 12 YRS I HAVE BEEN IN CHICAGO.
