EXTREME ORGANIZING INC

I thought it was a fantastic experience and Karyn is definitely talented in the area of organization. She is prompt, discreet, non-judgmental (my place was a mess) and has a very pleasant personality.

When my wife returned from visiting relatives I saw the look on her face as she gazed at our overcrowded living room; a nice space, but with too much in it. Tackling this had been on our minds for a while, but we weren't sure where to start. By chance, shortly after this I heard of Extreme Organizing and figured it was worth a try. We had no idea of specifically what to expect. Karyn Madorin arrived ready to work. She sat down with us and asked about our objectives, at which point my wife admitted that it was not only the clutter, but the problem that the room was focused around watching television, as if that was all we did. This led to the idea of creating two separate areas of the room (see above). To accomplish this, Karyn led us into tackling things head-on creating piles of things to keep, things to get rid of, things to think more about. She helped us plow through a wall of book shelves, counterspace, storage space, things in corners, stuff we didn't need. Over a few hours we got rid of an enormous amount (she gave us ideas on where/how to dispose of it). The space is enormously more useful, more organized, more attractive. Theoretically, we might have done this ourselves; but that's what we kept saying to each other. The reality was that we had no idea where to start to make it happen and wouldn't have done it otherwise. Karyn organized the effort and dug in with us. She was great: hands on, kept moving, getting it done. Bravo!
