EU Flooring

EU Flooring was awesome! I found them on Angie on a Thursday and they did the job the following Monday. The job was a refinish of a 1,225 sf apartment. They showed up on time, did the job beautifully and were gone the same afternoon. It turned out better than I could have expected! I would highly recommend them!!

We hired EU Flooring to install and stain unfinished hardwood for two bedrooms, a hallway, and 12 stairs. I wanted a traditional style stair, which EU Flooring said they would be able to do by building the stairs rather than using a single piece per tread/step. Unfortunately, EU Flooring did not add any support under each tread. As a result, many months after the project was completed, we started to see signs that the edge pieces were breaking loose on multiple steps. So there is a visible crack between a few of the edge tread pieces and the remainder of the step's wood planks. I contacted EU Flooring and asked for them to add more support to each of the steps since we had another company come in and tell us that was what would need to be done. EU Flooring said the breakage must have to do with work done by the other company which might be true for the bottom step which abuts the other company's flooring. However, this cannot be true for the remaining 11 steps. Unfortunately, EU Flooring ended up ghosting us and never came to remediate the issue. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed in the service and would not recommend this company to anybody who wants a high level of integrity from the people they hire. Hindsight is 20/20 and, in retrospect, we paid WAY too much for the flooring work EU Flooring completed for us--which only adds insult to injury.

They were in very quickly for the estimate, and offered a significantly better quote than the other contractors I looked at. Cornel and his team were professional and did a phenomenal job on my floors- they look brand new! They worked quickly and efficiently and were very understanding when I had to push the project back a day. I definitely recommend EU Flooring.

Cornel & his team were professional but affable & accommodating on both occasions when I've used their services. Cornel gave me a clear description of what they'd do, how much it would cost, when they'd show up to do the work, and how long it would take. They lived up to the terms of the agreement both last summer & this. Cornel even offered to move heavy items out of the way for the refinishing project both years and returned a day or so after the project was completed to return those items to their original places. I expect to hire them at least one more time to complete my gradual update/upgrade of my condo. That's because I have complete trust in their judgment, their "word," and their work ethic. Highly recommend!

It went very well. Floors look great. They were finished ahead of schedule. And we’re very helpful with putting the heavy furniture back in place. Polite and courteous.Easy to communicate with.

EU Flooring (owner and two employees) consulted with me twice and then came out, refinished my hardwood floors, cleaned up, and did a great job. Now my maple hardwood floors look so much better and are much easier to clean! The owner even advised against my wanting to install my leftover but NEW cord-around in the living room (where his crew had refinished my floors) because he said the cord-around was too wide. He could've made more money off me, but he gave me his honest assessment about it and wasn't pushy about anything.

paid for a job via Angie's list. Ignored my attempts to set a date for service for 2 months. When I finally tracked them down, they came over with, in my opinion, a clear intention only to upsell to another job that would cost thousands- told me what I paid for wasn't what I thought and I should pay them thousands for doing it right or get a refund. thereafter, angie's list would not refund as they had already paid eu, and eu refused to refund my money even though they had already been paid. It went well. I was able to go into my place twice to see what was going on, and they were using a big machine to sand the floors -- and they patched up areas that were cracked or uneven.

He bid about $2500 for job. I was on a prepaid coupon through Angie's list. It was so ridiculously over priced. I felt like he bid so high because I already purchased coupon. Just took the loss on coupon found reasonable bid for $900. Needless to say it stop me from buying any more coupons.

Excellent! They worked around my schedule, showed up and finished on time. We couldn't be happier with their work. I rarely write reviews, but these guys are worth it!

From consultation to finish the experience was A+. No dust left behind and I could walk on the floors the next morning! I already recommended EU Flooring to all my friends and you will too!

Everything went well. We had some unplanned electrical issues on the scheduled day and EU helped us find an electrician to fix the problem. They were very accommodating and came back to perform the work the next day.

They turned out beautiful! The floors had been covered for years and we weren't sure how much work they needed.They had to replace some boards and you wouldn't know it.They came the day after the estimate.We were very pleased with the work.

It went well, and I'm pleased with the final result! A couple of incidents did occur, but they were resolved in a timely manner. The incidents were 1) They disconnected my dryer and forgot to reconnect it, and since I couldn't reach the outlet myself, I had to call them to come back. 2) A string and hairs and dust got dried into the finish, so they had to come back and sand and refinish the floor again.

The project was on budget and the team finished earlier than expected. I would use EU again, and would recommend them to anyone needing work done on their floors

We knew we needed a professional company to assess the damage so we searched on Angie's List. We chose EU Hardwood Floors because they had excellent reviews and highly rated. They responded immediately and assured us that they could save our floors and have them looking brand new. They completed the job in 4 days and we were absolutely astonished with the results. Our floors looked brand new! They were completely smooth and the staining was beautiful! You would've never known they had been damaged. We are happy and truly thankful to EU Floors!

Cornell and his crew did a bang up job! Neighbors have come by and ask
who did your floors and others ask if they are new floors. My floors are
engineered HW and they look amazing. He did 3 coats of clear glaze and
they look better than when they were installed 12 years ago.

The workers did an excellent job on the floors. The hardwood floors look amazing. I am very satisfied and will use E U Hardwood again for future jobs.a

When I first started having companies come out and look to refinish and add hardwoods to the bedrooms...I was told it couldn't be matched and every company told me it was around 16,000 to do the whole house and I couldn't preserve my vintage oak floors...I contacted EU and they came out and were able to not only save my vintage oak floors but match my floors for the bedroom! And they saved me 8,000 in overall cost! I highly recommend this company! They were fast, efficient, and reliable! I give them 5 stars!!!
