Timely, communicative, looks great

We used Ernst to refinish our kitchen cabinets. They installed new hardware, replaced the hinges and repainted the cabinet doors and drawers fronts. The work was performed punctually and with minimal disruption. They were affordable, easy to work with and the quality was very good. The cabinets look great.

Fantastic. Guys showed up at 8a each morning and worked straight through to 5p each night for a week. Felt completely comfortable leaving them there alone all day. The progress from day to day was amazing. They took the drawers and doors with them to their shop for about a week, and sprayed them and they look factory level on the finish. Because the cabinets were solid ash wood the doors and drawers were not smooth on the surface, so they sprayed and sanded them 7 times to get to a smooth finish (without charging me extra!). Very responsive and trustworthy, and great value for the money. I've seen other neighbor's refinished white kitchens, and on the edges and corners you could see line from the brush or roller, but not with these guys, the boxes (bases of the cabinets) look like they came right from the factory. Will use these guys again to do our next home and have recommended them to family and friends. You just choose the color and they take it from there.

We are extremely pleased with the work Ernst Painting did for us. The drywall work and painting looks great! Just as important to us as the quality of the work was Ernst's professionalism; they wanted to be sure that we were completed satisfied with their work and took extra steps to make sure it was done right. Also, it was easy to communicate with their project manager (Vasyl) on a daily basis about the progress of the job. We definitely would use them again!

I have a large white painted kitchen that showed a lot of wear and tear on the lower cabinets.   i need to repaint my kitchen cabinets for resale.  Bill gave me the best price of three different contractors.  He managed to perfectly match the color.  We agreed on the date.  The painters were professional and on time - 7 am on the dot.  Mike came and spent 3 days meticulously sanding and painting the lower cabinets.  The doors and drawers were spray painted at the shop. Mike was very neat and left the job site spotless every day.  My kitchen looks great! The real estate agents can't believe how good they look.  If you are thinking of painting your kitchen cabinets....I would highly recommend them.  Best team of painters I have ever worked with!

Vasyl, Edgar and Abraham arrived promptly at 7:00 on 9/21/15.  Vasyl was the estimator for the job and took the two painters all the way through the project pointing out what needed to be done.  Fortunately we had all of the original paint still available from when we had the entire condo painted in 2012.  Edgar was a PROFESSIONAL painter while Abraham was his assistant, but also a very proficient painter himself at his young age.  I was not expecting such  extensive patching and sanding, but the two of them were very meticulous in finding repairs to be done that I had not noticed.  What I THOUGHT would be a short project stretched into a day and a half but it was well worth the inconvenience of drop clothes, paint trays, etc during the time they were working.  In the end our place is like it was freshly painted from the get-go when we first moved in in 2012.  Were it not for the fact that we are re-locating to CA, Ernst Painting & Decorating would have a regular customer for any painting work to be done.  I thoroughly recommend them.

It went great. The painter was on time and one of the most respectful contractors I've ever hired. He did a great job. Cleaned up any mess that was made and overall it was a great experience. 

Worker showed up 10 minutes early which I always appreciate but rarely happens when dealing with tradesmen. Worker was extremely courteous and worked hard/fast while he was at my home and I was very happy with the quality of work as well. Would highly recommend and hire again.

We needed to have a couple of bedrooms updated before we listed our home for sale. The work was completed as quoted, very timely and great result. No mess, no need to follow up! Rooms looked great!
