Equinox

I've been a member for nearly a year and a half; I have no complaints and am very pleased with the enterprise.

I am a member of the Loop club. The facilities are a bit cramped, but the equipment is top of the line. The client le is attractive and young and professional, as is the staff. The classes are high quality but limited in number and time. Because this is a work-hours club, the schedules revolve around lunch hour or the 5 to 7 time period. Locker room is too small. Overall, I like the convenience of having a gym 3 blocks from my office, but I would pick another one if I could find something as close for a better price.

Equinox is a great fit for me. Everything is clean and well maintained, they make an effort to have an inter sting class schedule. All the staff is friendly and professional. No request goes unconsidered. All this with the added advantage of a small, quiet environment.

The fitness center is excellent, with state-of-the art equipment, beautiful facilities, very nice changing rooms, very good classes, and friendly staff. The club is extremely clean, and is one of the few gyms that I've been to that doesn't smell bad. The equipment is always in perfect working condition, and there is never trouble getting on the machines or into the classes you want. The staff was very helpful in setting up and transferring our membership. It is expensive, though.
