Empire Renovations has an inside claim adjustor/company, who handled the claim directly with the insurance company. But I never heard from them after the initial contact. I dealt with a rep from Empire Renovations.
The work started out slow and got even slower. I was told that this was due to my incorporating additional work in addition to what the insurance company was providing. But I was told that in order for the original work to be worthwhile I should add the extras, which I do feel I got a very good price for, and were a benefit and necessary at the time.
The workers did show up and do their job; to the best of my knowledge. It appears all the work was done professionally - as nothing at this time is hanging off or out of whack. What part of the house that was repaired, looks very nice.
The unfortunate part is that this little job took over (3) months to coordinate and finish and there was a lack of communication.
In that this company deals with insurance claims I don't forsee using them to complete the rest of the project.

I was pleased with the work and they called me back quickly with any of my concerns. They had to basically close off my eat in kitchen addition and start over and I thought they did that well in 2 weeks. They also cleaned up well afterward. My neighbor also used them but she thought the roofing supplies they brought were sub grade but my house was so old anything would have been better than it was.

I didn't use him. He did my neighbor's roof and it went fine. I had no complaints but I ended up using another roofer that had done some of my other neighbors' roofs. He came to me and he did the estimate right away.

I got information about that company from a friend, that they can nicely convince an adjustor that roof is damaged and get everything done with just cost of deductible. I got kind of old roof in pretty good shape except of recent hail damage. I got warned that it can lead to leaks in some time ! I called Empire up and scheduled inspection. They showed up after few days with some delay and they said my roof is qualifying for reroof. They convinced insurance company and I got new roof for just $1000 ! They replaced rotten wood, placed new vents and replaced some extra wood inside - all inclusive. They cleaned my property very well from debris.
