ECOPIA PAINTING LLC

Although it's only been a few days since completion, I can't say (type) enough about how happy I am with Ecopia and the work Marcin & Luke did on my entire condo (900 sq ft)!! This was a HUGE (& messy) project. They removed my ugly popcorn ceilings throughout my condo, resurfaced my kitchen ceiling, then painted practically all rooms (including ceilings).
Marcin arrived promptly every morning, covered my floors with tarps and covered my belongings in plastic. He was meticulous on the work from start to finish. 
I got quotes from several contractors (some who discouraged me in getting the popcorn removed...and tried resift my focus on other work). Although cost was important, my decision to hire was also based on responsiveness, thoroughness of the process to be used and timeframe. Marcin was very detailed on replies to all my questions on email, text and in person -- before & during the entire process. Pricing was very fair for the work performed. I was amazed how quickly the popcorn was removed, then the ceiling was primed, skimmed, sanded primed again, caulked, then 2 coats of paint were applied. Not an easy task, but again -- so thorough! Some other contractors only wanted to do partial steps...but i definitely wanted this to last, and Marcin wanted to ensure it was done properly -- with no shortcuts.
Marcin worked with me on coordinating the room/areas to be worked on over less than 2 wks, so I could rotate furniture, etc from different rooms and still sleep in my place. He/Luke even helped me move a few heavy pieces of furniture!
They cleaned up/vacuumed daily...so thorough that I had no problem sleeping/eating in my unit.
Still can't believe how modern, airy, and popcorn-free my place is!! I'm so happy waking up and coming home to see my ceilings and walls.
I'd recommend Marcin & Ecopia to anyone!! You won't be sorry. He's really the best at his craft, friendly and very positive to making my project a success. Wish I could attach a few photos of the finished product...it's beautiful!

It was a no hassle project with Ecopia painting. The owner not only delivered the service he had promised to us, but also advised about environmentally safe paint and woodwork  finish products.
He and his employee was punctual, completed the work in one day and cleaned after them selves. I will definitely be using this company in the future. 
Marchin (the owner) is a pet owner, as am I and it was important to me that people who walk into my home are not intimidated by large bread dogs. Also, as I mentioned, he had a lot of information about products that are safe and durable from the aspects of a sustainable living,

Marcin is hands-down a perfectionist's dream - great attention to detail! - as well as a pleasure to deal with and an unsurpassed value. We had hired him for a previous project on a friend's recommendation and were thoroughly impressed with the high quality of his work repairing and repainting our walls and trim. When we decided to re-paint our current condo prior to listing it, we called him and were confident that the paint job would be excellent, and he surpassed our already high expectations. By consulting with him on what should be painted vs. what can just be touched up we ended up with a flawless-looking place that sold within a day of the first showing. Marcin is a true master of his trade who is also reliable, punctual and exquisitely polite while delivering great value - we couldn't ask for more.

Ecopia painting did an excellent job and we are extremely pleased with the new look of our upstairs rooms.
Marcin Pokratka, owwer of Ecopia painting responded immediately to our request for an estimate and came to look at the job the same day I called. Within a few days, he emailed a detailed written estimate of the work to be performed outlining the purpose, preparation work, painting work, time frame and cost. Every detail I had mentioned was listed on the estimate and the costs were listed for each room, including labor costs and material costs.
The master bedroom had very old wallpaper, a major crack in the walk in closet, and lots of water damage on the ceiling from a leaky roof.  Marcin inspected everything, asked if the roof was repaired and made sure the ceiling was dry before patching. Anyone who has removed wallpaper knows what a mess this can be...there was so much glue on our wall they appeared yellow.  Marcin did an expert job of removing all traces of wallpaper and glue, washed everything, and then primed and painted.
Every night before leaving the crew would clean up and sweep the floors.  I am amazed at the outcome..you would never know there were major wall cracks and wallpaper in this room.  The walls look brand new.
We purchased new bedroom furniture and Marcin suggested we might want to wait to paint the hallway after the furniture delivery, however this didn't work for my schedule and we had the stairwell and hallway painted as well.  Marcin said to call him if there were any nicks or damage after the furniture came and he would come out at no charge to do any needed touch ups.  I've never had a contractor offer to do this and thought this was a very generous offer.
.Ecopia painting was very flexible on scheduling days and times that would work for us, Our project was finished on time and budget.

He was amazing.  First, he did a great job.  The doors look like they are brand new.  He ended up talking me into not using stain again but instead to just sand and varnish them.  The doors are cedar so that result is a beautiful reddish color.  Using stain would have been more costly and he would have made more money so I felt like he was really taking my best interest into account.  
The quality of his work is great.  He ended up coming back three times to complete all the coats of varnish and made sure there was enough time in between for the doors to completely dry.  
He also has a very professional style.  He was very considerate and always took his shoes off when coming into the house....even after I told him that he didn't need to.
I will absolutely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Marcin was very prescriptive and helped us pick out the appropriate paint type for each room. I would definitely recommend using Ecopia.
