EARTH MAGIC PAINTING & REMODELING

Sebastian's team painted two bedrooms, a bathroom and large kitchen, everything looks great.
In an upstairs room that used to be a kitchen (two-flat converted to a single family house) they removed a wall of cupboards, a countertop and a sink, and installed a washer and dryer, and a smaller utility sink.  They added the needed duct-work (gas ducts through the floor for the dryer, additional plumbing), and things I would never have considered, like the drain tiles and vents to the outdoors.  Everything has worked great and looks great for the several months since installation - it just makes the rest of the room look pretty sad and worn out.
Finally, I had them do several bits of miscellaneous handyman jobs:
 - Replace a light figure and add a switch at the bottom of the stairs
 - Replace another light with a light with a fan
 - Install a motion-activated vent in the bathroom
 - Various plumbing fixes (dripping faucets, faucet with low pressure, etc.)
 - Added tiles to fill a large hole in a tile wall

It went well, but I did not get exactly what I wanted because I wanted some texture paint done and that could not be accomplished. What they did do, they did a nice job on.

Fantastic from start to finish! I was under an extremely tight deadline to finish the project in a 6-day time frame with only 6 days notice to start. Not only did Sebastian squeeze in my project with short notice by shuffling crews and projects around, he was extraordinarily professional and friendly. During the estimate, he listened well and asked lots of questions. He made several great suggestions for things I hadn't even thought to consider which made the project turn out much better in the end. His estimate was right on target and extremely fair, and as promised, he and his crew really went the extra mile to finish on time. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result and will definitely hire Earth Magic again for future renovation/painting projects.

I hired Earth Magic Painting and Remodeling based on the and lsquo;word of mouth' recommendation and am very pleased I did. I have heard many unpleasant stories about how even minor remodeling jobs can become lengthy and expensive experiences. It was an opposite working with Sebastian, owner of this remodeling company. After giving me an estimate, he began the work exactly 10 days later as he said he would. It took 3 days to complete the job for a crew of three workers with no additional cost then what he asked for initially. They were very clean, polite and after I would come home, I would find the job site cleaned up, their tools and materials covered and set aside, so the undergoing project never interfered with my regular routine. Besides, the professionalism and punctuality, Sebastian advised me on a couple key decisions and helped me with the colors, for which I am grateful, because in hindsight, my choices weren't that practical. I also liked the fact that the company's name is not only a rhetorical statement. The owner is well informed on the products and materials that are environmentally friendly and available for us to use. He did not, however, attempt to and ldquo;selland rdquo; it to me, when the price for the paints was a little more then I could afford. Thank you, Magic Earth!

We needed most of our house painted to put it on the market - company gave us an estimate and started work the following week. They were prompt and flexible - when we needed to have everything done before Monday to bring in photographers, they worked Saturday to finish. They replaced furniture and cleaned up after painting, and arranged the work to minimize disruption to our lives. The paint looks great (wish I'd done it years ago, not just waited until we're selling the house!) and the cost in the end was equal to the estimate (plus some extra because when I saw how nicely it was turning out, I added two other rooms to the job.) When I mentioned that I had some small repair jobs around the house, Sebastian offered to do them for me - just small repairs, but they all went well. Especially cleaning and repairing the grout and re-sealing the shower and tub, and a section of our bathroom floor where the grout had come loose over the years - he matched the color perfectly and I can't even tell where the repair is. Again, I wish I'd done this years ago.

Over the course of a couple years, they did interior painting, some minor repairs, and exterior painting on the garage. They were always on time, which was nice. If there was a problem to come on that day they would call in advance and reschedule. They were very sweet and never left a mess in the house. Another good trait they showed was being very courteous. If I ever needed remodeling done in the future I would use them again.
