Dynasty Innovations Remodeling Contractors

Yesterday marked the completion of our project with the Dynasty Innovations, It was a big project and we are very happy with the outcome. There are many episodes happened in the process - remodeling is a big daunting task, and you need the best professionals standing on your side. We are very happy that we chose Dynasty Innovations as our general contractor (especially Marcello). We started the remodeling project with extensive research on general contractors. We interviewed greater than 10 contractors. Some were expensive, some were rude, some were too good to be true, some said to get back to us in two weeks. When Marcello showed up, we had very good chemistry to begin with. He really took ownership in the project, and when we tested which cabinet / counter top / floor he would like to use, he picked exactly what we were thinking just a day ago - it was amazing. We signed contract right on site. The first thing Dynasty Innovations impressed us was the speed. While other contractors estimated it need about 2 months to finish everything, Marcello promised to get everything done within 4-6 weeks, and the most time consuming part was to wait for the custom cabinetry. The subsequent events proved their efficiency - it took 1 week to do the demo of kitchen and master bath, installation of flooring, painting, electrical, all happens at lightning speed without compromise of quality. If you are in a situation where you want to move out of rental and move in as soon as possible - call Marcello. They put a lot of folks on site, and they are all very nice and easy to work with. It's very common to have the outcome different from what you expect during the project - nothing is perfect. Dynastys response is always - 'I'll take care of it'. (I can already mimic with his accent now). He rarely argues it can't be changed, but rather, get to fix things right away. I would text him certain things we would like to change, and next morning 8am his guy is already working. For example, there was one tile in the bathroom, the initial installation was a little bit uneven. I told Marcello and he asked his men to replace that piece immediately. It looked nice until one night, we found the color of the replacement tile looked very different from the rest, made it look like a patch at night - but during the day they all looked identical! This is probably because of a manufacture issue, and when I told Marcello he asked his men to change it right away. That tile need to be cut to fit the trim of the door and it's not trivial task, and he never argued. There were many other small things (laundry lists) we asked Dynasty to help and he delivered all. We were very happy. Finally - the long story about counter top. When Marcello ordered the countertop we liked, it was out of stock. We really liked that one and Marcello fought with the regional owner and eventually got us a special shipment of the specific stone. Which was what threw us out of our time frame by 2 weeks. Finally - remodeling is indeed a big undertaking. We are very happy to have Dynasty Innovations on our side build a place where we could call our lovely home. I would HIGHLY recommend Dynasty Innovations. First off, I am a rather demanding professional person with an almost-OCD like attention to the tiniest of details. I tell you this so you are better able to comprehend just how good someone has to be to get a 5 STAR rating from me. Common concerns of a homeowner about to embark on having construction done usually include quality, reliability, cost, honesty of the workers who will be in your home, privacy, noise, cleanliness, neatness, attention to detail, and having someone who is knowledgeable and capable of giving advice about the myriad issues that will come up and with which few of us have any personal experience. In all of these areas of concern, Dynasty Innovations came through with flying colors! The major stresses of living through a major renovation were pretty much non-existent because of these great guys. We had two bathrooms and a kitchen gut-renovated, a closet built, a hallway and closet renovated, living, dining room renovated, new flooring and a staircase rebuilt. (the majority of the first floor and master bathroom were updated). Marcello is a sincerely pleasant, good person who has years of experience and vast stores of knowledge. He was a great source of information and advice. The crews who worked on our renovation project-- were prompt, hardworking, skilled, polite and pleasant. I'm going to miss all of these folks now that the job is finished.

We gathered a few referrals from friends to find a contractor for a major remodeling project on our home. After meeting with 3 companies, my wife and I felt the most comfortable with Marcello's personable approach and professionalism. His Architect joined us for our next meeting and designed the whole floor plan and explained all the ins and outs. The process started in late October, and by December 1st their team of architects and engineers had plans stamped and approved by the city. The project included adding 2,500sqft, relocating the kitchen into the addition, knocking down load bearing walls to expand the living and dining rooms, a second story addition, remodeling 3 bathrooms completely, a new roof, new floors, painting both exterior and interior and replacing all windows and doors. Like any major project, changes were made along the way and a few hick ups arose, but everything was taken care of promptly and courteously. Workers were here every day and did great work at a great pace. The office always updated us on the progress and answered our every question. Marcello will always promptly take care of your every concern, and Bart just has the best eye for design, fixtures finishes and styles. He spent endless hours walking us thru custom cabinetry design, tile and fixtures selections. They also had great vendor relationships which saved us some money on items such as our cabinets. We are now moving back in to a practically brand new home, all in just over 4 months. The results are beautiful and we feel confident that they have our back if we ever need them for questions concerns or repairs. We will gladly recommend them, and have actually already introduced them to our neighbor. Don't start your project without AT LEAST consulting with them first!

At first, the owner seemed very personable and knowledgeable.  

Then the work was done so poorly.  The result is unprofessional, and they don't seem to care at all. They didn't even order the correct size cabinets.  I am so dissatisfied. I do not recommend this company.

When I asked him about coming to fix the work, he explained that they were very busy with large projects and that they could not come back to fix their terrible job.  Any additional changes should be discussed with the next contractor/tradesman.

When purchasing this home we knew we would be making some upgrades, the most essential was the kitchen. It was a beautiful kitchen in the 1980's but this is 2014. That being said we weren't looking for some modern slick kitchen from the future either. Priding our self on our heritage and sensible tastes i wasn't sure which company to go with. I saw many styles on Dynasty's website many of which were modern which made us a little weary of meeting their designer, as i said we were not planning anything modern. Marcello was the project manager and designer, he was on time for our meetings and surprisingly didn't push a contemporary design on us. He started by asking us many questions taking notes. He said he would come up with a traditional design but with modern functionality. Still sounded modern to me which is not what we're interested in. I decided to hear him out and make my decision based on the 3D projection. After seeing the projection i realized the only modern thing in our kitchen were the appliances and i understood his reasoning for them. I loved the idea of using extra crown to enhance the traditional look. He recommended white cabinets with an antico bianco counter top that would blend the flooring with the cabinets. We went with a traditional white back splash. After ordering all the materials dynasty projected a start date 1 week after materials arrived. They used plastic to protect out homes floors and sectioned off the kitchen to keep dust down. They cleaned up the job site every night before leaving which i must say i did appreciate as me and my husband liked to make our daily progress inspection. The whole process took about 3 months 1 of which were waiting on materials. They did attempt to keep out stove in working condition through as much of the renovation as possible, which we were thankful for. Over all Dynasty surprised us with the quality our finished product. Marcello was on site daily and did meet with us after hours on a couple occasions to finalize paint colors and final options. We have already started recommending Dynasty to our friends. Thanks D.I

My husband and I have been suffering through a dated kitchen since we bought this home a couple years back. A full kitchen renovation was on our to do list for about a year. To be honest we were a little frightened of the whole process, especially loosing kitchen access for months on end. I saw Dynasty's website and i liked some of there previous projects. I talked to Alex on the phone on a couple different occasions to see if i would like to continue with the consultation, after agreeing with my husband it was definitely time to renovate our kitchen. Marcello was the designer they sent to our home. He talked with us for about an hour, asking many questions. We had a kind of basic idea for our kitchen but couldn't visualize it. After discussing our budget Marcello said we could afford a fully custom kitchen renovation. After showing us the 3D plans and going over the details i wasnt sure if all the things he mentioned would fit in our budget. We agreed to go with dynasty and hoped it would come out as presented to us. Marcello sent us to a M&S Imports which is a beautiful tile shop in elk grove village.  Marcello had already talked to the shop owner and he was expecting us, i must say i was impressed with some of the designs and the quality of materials there. Cabinets were also a big thing for us we wanted cabinets we wouldnt have to replace in 10 years, we also have children so we needed them to be durable. We decided to go with Diamond brand which we felt was the best quality for the price. We had a lot of cabinets so we were a bit fearfull of the cabinet price but it fit within our budget. We do a lot of cooking especially my husband being a Chef, We wanted appliances and a kithen that could accommodate the whole family in the kitchen working on meals for holidays or even regular meals, in this home everyone wants to be a Chef.We expected about 3 months of construction and figured we would be using the grill for many of our meals. Marcello left our stove in working condition for 7 of the 8 weeks of installation which was much appreciated. The decision making was the most difficult part of the whole project, We wanted our kitchen to be perfect. After finishing i must say its like a dream come true, i NEVER expected our old kitchen to come out like this and for the budget we had im very satisfied with the quality of our new kitchen.  Thanks Dynasty.

We called a couple contractors we found online and got a few different estimates. Dynasty came out in around the middle but seemed more personable than some of the other contractors. I set up an appoinment and Marcello was the project manager and designer, he gave us a couple pointers we over looked when thinking about design. After agreeing to their proposal Marcello showed us many samples and fixtures. He also sent us to a Tile Import place that was very helpful. They said our project would be from 2-4 weeks. The only thing we needed to order was plumbing fixtures, after arriving dynasty started demolition which i was a little worried about, dust and noise and destruction lol, but it was much quiter and cleaner than i expected. They prepaired everything to protect out existing things and cleaned up every night. Marcello was there throughout the project to oversee everything, which i must say was very smooth. I was working during the day and they were finishing up before i got dinner going at night. 2 weeks after the start of construction our bathroom was finished, It came out exactly as we hoped for. There were no overages or unexpected problems, luckily everything was on budget.

We have a big family and growing families love to eat. My parents purchased this home only a year prior and knew we would be updating the kitchen and bath eventually and probably sooner than later. So after our refrigerator went out we decided it was time. We called dynasty innovations in which a co worker of mine recently used for a kitchen that came out just gorgeous. I was hoping to catch them before spring when they get busy because we were literally without a refrigerator. After meeting with Marcello our project manager he came up with a couple really good ideas to make our kitchen more functional as well as meet our tastes. They made a 3D plan for our kitchen to help us visualize our new layout, which was a little hard until i could see the 3D plans. We agreed to there proposal and started making decisions on materials right away. We found a nice mid level solid wood cabinets that Dynasty's vendor had in stock which was perfect because we didnt want to wait for materials. When the work began they were friendly and did protect our floors and put up a dust shield. The project manager scheduled everything so the actual kitchen installation was about 3 weeks 2 of those weeks our stove was operational even though not ideal cooking conditions we could at least have good dinners at night. We went with a arctic white quartz which was solid white. We removed the kitchen back entry to allow for more cabinet space. I love it our kitchen is so much more enjoyable to cook and snack in. And i can finally invite people to eat over and not be ashamed. Thanks D.I

we just moved to a larger home which we got a great deal on but of course that means there was work to be done. The first priority was the master bath it was literally disgusting and not just the colors and wallpaper yes i said wallpaper probably from the 1940's, but there was mold and cracked countertops, broken shower pan lets just say it was a complete redo. We were looking for a more contemporary design but not quite futureistic like some of the ultra modern designs we've seen. I've worked with dynasty innovations in the past so i'm fairly familiar with their work and employees. I met with the project manager/ bathroom designer and he headed me in the right direction of design. He came up with 3 different designs/ layouts i could choose from. Then we figured out the color scheme and fixtures and finishing touches. It was a very smooth process even though i was kind of aggressive on the time frame, well i wanted to move in and didnt want to see that every morning when i wake up. We ordered the materials seperate they covered all of the rough materials and granite. Their employees are polite they came in and covered the entry way with plastic and set up a dust control sheild for the bathroom. It took them 2 weeks to complete the bathroom which was partly my fault because i changed my mind on the paint color AFTER it was finished. Surprisingly they didnt charge extra for that last minute decision. Overall im very happy with my new bathroom its a completely different layout and now can easily handle me and my husband in the morning rush. They also gave me a 10% discount for being a returning customer. The only problem i have is the lead time they gave me on my kitchen but it;s worth the wait.

As i was preparing to move for my new job, and put my condo on the market; i searched for a list of reputable contractors.  I didn't have the time to ask around or request references.  The project manager was pretty knowledgable and knew which options i had. I was looking for high end to boost the price but not boost the cost.
When i selected Dynasty innovations, it was the best decision i have ever made.  In the mist of me traveling from Texas for training  and back, they got all the work done while i was gone and it was spectacular! Project mananger found me some great outlet cabinets that were wood but for a good price, esp since budget was on my mind. The granite and sinks really finished them off. The Tile floor came out great also from an outlet. Added some lights in the ceiling gave it a great sparkle with the granite. My place sold fast, and i am only sorry that i will not get to enjoy the high end finishes i never got to live with.  I would hire dynasty again when i purchase again.

We Called Them Because Our Sink Was Leaking And We Were Ready To Remodel The Whole Bathroom. They Helped Us Figure Out Exactly What We Wanted. The Bathroom Came Out So Great I Asked Them and Got a Good Price On A Wood Privacy Fence. And After All That I Asked About A Attic Insulation,They Ended Up Giving Me A Great Price On Everything, And Everything Came Out Perfect. They Worked Around Our Schedule And The Whole Process Was No Hassle At All. I Recommend Them To Everyone
