We have actually been using Dorenbos Plumbing for several years. When we first used them we had had another company come in and quote the job - that company quoted us over 1000.00. Dorenbos came in and did it for under 200.00.
We have used them over the years as things come up and I never give a second thought to calling them. It is a great feeling to know that I can trust what they tell me. I appreciate how they come out and do the best job they can and all at a very reasonable price.
They are always on time. They are very respectful of our home, making sure to clean up after the work is done.
They explain what is going on in a way that I can understand.
I can not say enough good things about this company! They are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable.

Chicago had the massive subzero snow blizzard of 2014. When the thaw came today, two pipes burst. Many providers were hammered with other work or didn't answer phones. Kyle came out same day, fixed in less than an hour. He's a great guy and was quick and professional. Big providers rise to the top of Angie's list with the huge number of reviews they get, but Dorenbos are the best plumbers I've dealt with yet and I've dealt with a few. Don't hesitate to use them, just because they don't have 400 reviews. The reviews they do have are very good and count me among those who agree that they get the job done.

Dorenbos is an absolute joy to work with. I am the president of a condo association and I'm always looking for companies that are flexible and easy to work with. Kyle and the rest of his crew are extremely knowledgeable and are very good at explaining what has happened and how they're going to fix it. Their pricing is very reasonable and we use them whenever there is an issue or question.

They seemed more knowledgeable and more communicative that most other plumbers that I've worked with. They are better at communicating what the issues are and what possible solutions are.

They can do almost everything. They have been around for a while. They come highly recommended to us. We use them for all of our plumbing.

Kyle, Andrew and Bob were GREAT! Quick to respond to call. Came out to see what we had to be done and gave an estimate. Booked the work and they were prompt, courteous, clean and professional. They know their stuff and are extremely thorough. Very experienced and easy to work with. Took time to explain process during some portions of the work and gave us hints to help with avoiding problems down the road. They are honest and just great to work with! Will continue to work with them anytime we need a plumber!

I am hugely impressed with Dorenbos Plumbing, particularly Andrew. He was on-time, extremely communicative and very friendly. From start to finish, it was a smooth process. I will definitely call these guys again for any plumbing needs.

I called in and got a quote from Andrew who is by far the most responsive, calming and coherent plumber that I've probably ever spoken with. I'd called multiple companies, but just from talking to Andrew I could tell that; his company had the capacity to perform the work and that they would do so with the minimum amount of time required to actually get the job done correctly.

I was not so price sensitive that I'd be pressing their guys to finish as soon as possible to save me a few bucks, but I got the clear sense from these guys that they can and will do what is necessary (be it air pressure testing, camera work, etcetera) to get the job done with the best outcome and the least amount of disruption to the existing conditions of your property and your current plumbing set up.

Andrew began by examining the plumbing set up when he got to my unit and then began testing for problem areas. This was made especially difficult for him, because I had floor contractors working in the same space on the same day with loud equipment. Andrew was quite patient and workmanlike in getting his tasks knocked out, and he was also great about explaining to me what was going on and likely outcomes. When we identified a leak Andrew as quick to cut off the source by himself even though it required him moving between floors quickly and around the flooring guys, and he was very good about working with the flooring guys to minimize the damage to the hardwood floors caused by both burst pipes that we identified.

He and his partner, Kyle came back on a second day (post floor work completion) to test the hot water service which was a question mark also, but it turned out to be a relatively routine situation with no burst pipes when they checked it thankfully. But again Andrew and Dorenbos plumbing were great about explaining and not overselling. It's rare that a vendor of any type gains my trust especially on a first job, but these guys are my preferred plumbers from here on out no question and until they decide to hang up their wrenches. They were really great and super professionals. A great company and a great find (thanks to Angie's List).

They were very good! They are very helpful, very professional. I enjoyed working with them.

I was perfectly satisfied with the work and with the faucet that they put in. They were very nice. They were very neat and tidy and did not leave any mess. Everything is working fine a year and a half later and I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this company.

For the clogged drain, we called Kyle on a Monday and he was able to fit us in with a Wednesday visit. He was right on time and called 10 minutes before arriving to give us a heads up. The drain is a bit tricky, but they did a great job and left no mess. We had them out the following week to preventative cleaning of the sewer line as we've had flooding in the past. Again, they were highly efficient and professional, even giving us advice on some steps we can take on our own to prevent clogs and backups.

great! Although I was originally not too happy about the fact that the supplier they use is in the city, and I was paying for travel time, Bob and Drew were terrific. Instead of having to replace my faucet, an expensive proposition, Drew was able to repair it, with the help of said supplier, even though the needed part was unavailable. On balance, they saved me a considerable amount of money due to their tenacity, commitment, and thoroughness.

Everything went very well. They are very knowledgeable.

The two plumbers showed up on time, and also called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They got right to work. I had asked them to clean the sink drain in the bathroom, since it was draining slowly. They also noticed the tub was draining slowly, so they took care of that, too. They answered all my questions, worked quickly and efficiently, and were extremely pleasant to deal with. This is the second time I have used them, and I'm glad I found them on Angie's List.

Excellent. I had gotten a free estimate from Kyle Kostelny of Dorenbos a few weeks previously. He told me that I could save money by purchasing a faucet myself instead of having them do it. I got the faucet and when I had a free day I called to set up an appointment to install it and fix a couple other things. The two guys showed up exactly on time. They were done within 2 hours. They were professional, extremely nice, and answered all my questions. This company is more affordable than some others I got through Angie's List and they did a fabulous job.

We liked everything about them. The owner is a person named Kyle. He has two people working for him named Andrew and Bob. Kyle came over and assessed our whole plumbing system. We got different quotes and we ended up going with them. He was really nice, friendly, professional, and very accessible. He explained everything that he wanted to explain. The other two people were also great. They were very reasonably priced and the work they did was really good. Everything that they did was very professional. We could even give them the keys to our house as they were totally trustworthy. I can't say enough good things about them. We will be using them again.

Andrew called quickly in response to my original inquiry. In our phone call, he determined the scope of the repair and decided to come as a one-man crew to save me money b/c our repairs were so minor. He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within 5 minutes of promised time. The repairs, including helping me determine what parts to order from Moen and waiting while I called them, took about one hour. I was delighted by the quality of service and repairs and would happily use Dorenbos again if I have plumbing issues.

Went great. I gpt a day laborer and did my own digging, and they came out to lay pipe and make connections.

They were great! I was very happy to have someone share their knowledge rather than just do the work. I feel like I am better informed as a result and will be able to identify real problems much earlier in the future and take care of the minor ones myself.

Dorenbos makes plumbing look easy. They know their stuff. These guys are great, highly recommended. They are responsive, prompt, clean, trustworthy and do the job right.

They do routine plumbing for me and they are great. I have a contract with them. They are timely, reliable, clean and honest.

Kyle came over and gave us an estimate. He advised us that if we could save him some time and us some money if we were willing to provide the labor to expose the sewer pipe. This task we agreed upon and with the help of his dad my son was able to do the job. Kyle and Drew showed up on time and performed the job in a timely and professional manner.
