We still have a whole other closet to do (office items and books) , once my handyman completes installing shelves there, and also need to organize the bathroom, linen cabinet, finish the bedroom, and possibly the kitchen cabinets.
My brain does not think in an organized way, and I just stuff things wherever I can find room. We found so many things that have been missing for ages, or that I didn't even realize I had!! Debra has now found a home for these items, which is fantastic! Plus everything looks so much prettier!
I highly recommend Debra! She was very pleasant to work with, and very patient. She was energetic, yet laid back enough to allow me to make final decisions on keeping, donating, or pitching.
I can't wait to have her back!!
That is the last time I signed up for special deals with Angie's list.
If I pay for it, I want the service available at any time
This happened a few years ago. I am only responding now because Angie's List keeps asking for a review.
Don't even remember the date now. So am estimating above as required.
There doesn't seem to be an option to remove the review, so I am adding your response to me. That should help.
I'm sure that I could be of help, if you are at all overwhelmed with dealing with the things in storage. I can help with donations, selling items on craigslist, making decisions about what to keep, recycling, etc. I can also help with your current space (you are in Winnetka now I believe?)
In any case, while you are understandably annoyed with Angie's List's policy about the expiration date (I've been in the same boat!), I believe I have been very fair in my offer. I have indeed lost business due to your review. Whether or not you are able to accept the assistance that I have offered, I do feel like an "F" rating for a small business you have never utilized, which hurts my business tremendously, is a harsh punishment to the wrong party. Word of mouth is my primary mode of acquiring clients and earning a living, so your "F" rating causes perhaps more hardship than you intend. I would be very grateful if you would remove the review.
Thank you for your consideration, and please let me know if I can be of help.
Best,
Debra
"I had sent an email prior to this one, offering the purchase price of the expired coupon toward my services. She declined. My email stated, "Even though your deal was purchased 3 years ago, I am happy to offer you your purchase price ($79, of which I received 40%), toward my services.""
"This job was actually completed in 2011. I spent about 2 hours with the client who purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" coupon I had offered at the time. I gave the client an extra free 30 minutes at the end, but unfortunately this was not sufficient time to resolve clutter and create new systems customized to the client. I welcome the opportunity to continue to help out!"
"Thanks so much (Member name removed) for the Angie's List review! Let me know if you'd like to schedule another visit to get those papers back on track!"
She is dependable and professional and I wish I had known her years ago.
She is calm, collected and confident. Nothings throws her (except fracking). My house is getting organized, my bills are being handled, and who knows, maybe I will straighten up and fly right!
Thank you Debra!
