The work was not that bad, but after they finished the faucet just did not seem secure. They did address the issue, but I just felt the job could have been done with a little more detail.

They did not follow city code for filling up a 12 feet deep hole and it created a sink hole in our front yard.

Called DePaul to unclog a drain in a tenant's apartment. The serviceman arrived on time and promptly took care of the clog (about 15 minutes duration). While he was there, the tenant asked him to take a look at another apartment's toilet as water was soaking into the tenant's ceiling. He gave a cursory examination of the upstairs toilet, said ''no leaks'' and took off as quickly as possible. Total time on-site: 20-25 minutes. I checked the tenant's ceiling myself, saw that it was *soaked* beneath the upstairs toilet, and called DePaul to request that they send someone back to take care of the problem. I'd paid for an hour of service and I wanted an hour of service. The owner tells me that the hour charge includes travel time and that there'd be a separate hour-minimum charge ($189!) to send someone out for the toilet. I told him this was preposterous as DePaul is 5 blocks away from me. We had a lengthy argument during which he swore at me. I will never use this company again.

WE WEREN'T SURE OF THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT WE WANTED IT FIXED ASAP, FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBORS. DEPAUL CAME OUT THE SAME MORNING I CALLED, AND QUICKLY DETERMINED HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY REPLACED A WAX SEAL, AND INSTALLED NEW INNER WORKINGS, SO AS TO COMPLETELY DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM.

PLUMBER WAS ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE JOB WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIMEFRAME, IN FACT LESS TIME. KEY AS WE HAD TO TURN OFF ALL WATER TO THE BUILDING. HE DID LEAVE THE OLD PIPE PIECES FOR US TO DISPOSE OF RATHER THAN DISPOSING OF THESE HIMSELF BUT OTHER THAN THAT A QUALITY JOB.

THEY SNAKED OUT THE DRAIN. I CALLED THEM ON A MONDAY MORNING AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL. THE JOB ONLY TOOK 20 MINUTES BUT THEY HAVE A ONE HOUR MINIMUM.
