David and team did a fantastic job. I had 30 year old attic insulated. Old insulation removed and reblown in. David sealed around ceiling lighting, gaps where mice had gained entrance, sealed around windows. They were reliable, efficient, personable, cost effective, and most of all listened to our problems for resolution. We were pleased that we hired DAP and Sons.

Dap & Son were extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and always on time. We had to over 4500 square feet of insulation that had to be blown in. The project was completed with an extraordinary and high level of expertise. The work done was outstanding! We live in a HOA located in the South Loop which requires a number of prerequisites, and Dap and Sons met them all.

I had a finished basement. I hired him for sound insulation between basement and First floor. He clarified that the right method is to add insulation layer in between the joist. But as I had a finished basement, he proposed insulating by pumping cellulose into the gap between the two floors by drilling holes. It did help in insulation .. but sound insulation it had very minimal effect.

SERVICE: Blown-in cellulose insulation Overall a positive experience with the results from Dap & Son, my basement is definitely warmer, but there were some rough spots - the machine they were using had some trouble, they had forgotten to bring a shop vac to clean up the mess they made (though I did appreciate the attempt to solve the problem by removing the carpet in the room, which was being demoed anyways), and the patch job to plug the holes in the drywall had to be totally re-done (plugs were 'glued' in with mud instead of braced properly with shims/screws).

Mr. Poole responded to my inquiry and came out to my home to access my attic insulation needs. He provided a fair quote for the job and was hired. Prompt arrival on day of insulation. He answered all my questions and explained in detail what he was doing. Courteous and professional.

We hired David to add noise proofing insulation in out attic. He was extremely knowledgeable about different types of insulation for this project.
