I would not use this agent under any circumstances. Two problems occurred. 1) The property was listed under the WRONG zip code. I discovered this 8 weeks after the property had been on the market. I pointed this out to her and she had the nerve to say that "when Real Estate Agents search in the MLS, we search by area numbers, not zip codes, so it would not be affected in their search." This error was unacceptable and should have been caught had she reviewed the MLS listing and detail. It probably wasn't coincidence that the property then began to have a much higher level of interest and showings. 2) Approximately 4 weeks after being listed, she tried to get us to lower the price by 10%. I felt this was driven more by her interests rather than the client?s. The move came across as extremely panic driven and without objective facts or data. We did not lower the price and it ended up selling a short time later for near list price.
