Nina, the Owner, was great and really seemed to know what she was doing. Jason, the Designer, was super helpful and we connected right away and he made many great suggestions. They didn't bring many samples with them, even though I told the person on the phone when I initially called exactly what type of fabrics I was looking for. No big deal. Jason ran back to the office with some samples I had given him and he came back w/i an hour to go over them. I was happy with that.
To my dismay, their quote came in quite higher than 2 other quotes we received. When I say higher, I mean HIGHER. They wanted 20k to do our entire home and the other two we received were $13k and $13,500. Nina's labor was what surprised me the most - 10k in labor alone. She wanted to charge $1728 to sew two sets of sheer panels together and $1440 for 2 pairs of drapery panels. That's just labor and doesn't include materials and installation. The other quotes I received were about $1500-2000 for the entire room including materials, labor and install. For the whole room (2 large windows), Nina wanted over 7k for 2 sets of sheers and 2 sets of stationary velvet drapes.
Needless to say, we didn't go with Curtain Couture. I wrote Jason back an email that even though he and I really connected and I WANTED to use them, I was disappointed in their pricing, namely the labor costs, and just couldn't spend that kind of money. What is most disappointing is that I never heard back

Nina is not only an amazing person and lovely to work with but the quality of the work her shop produces is absolutely amazing. Her measurements are precise, her fabrics are out of this world and she delivers on a timely basis.
I would recommend Nina and Curtain Couture to ANYONE, who needs window treatments or specialty headboards completed. Nina is just wonderful!

Great working with her! Very responsive, eager to share ideas and listen, knows exactly how to design in terms of scale versus room/ceiling height. Finished product was impeccable--so perfectly sewn and hung. She has her own workshop and pays close attention to all the details.

The service was excellent. The price was kind of high. They were great. I would use them again if I had more money.

We have worked with Nina (the owner) previously to dress our main floor windows (Living, Dining and Family Rooms) and had a great experience then. I didn't realize Curtain Couture was on Angie's list until recently so I didn't get a chance to review the initial project. First I spoke to Nina on the phone to set an appt. so she could come by and get a feel for what we were looking for and measure. Then, you can go to her shop or she can come by with fabrics. I went there and brought a bunch home to see what things look like in different lights. If I remember correctly, she came to measure the space to double check things and we decided on fabrics and hardware then. She took pictures of the room as it was and sent a mock up of what the space would look like with the size, color and design of curtains we picked out, which was great for my husband to see. Once that was done, she ordered the materials. As soon as the fabrics came in, it was only about two or three weeks before her installer, Mel, was hanging our beautiful curtains. Everything is hand done so you can get exactly what you want. Nina is a really sweet and friendly person. Great experience overall. Wish I had more curtains to layout with her!

Love the selections we made and the install went just as planned. No issues at all. It's a little pricey, but to be honest, I wasn't really price-shopping as I really just wanted something nice and to get it done as soon as I could with the holidays coming up.

I was real impressed by the owner, who personally handles every order. She gave me free consultations and helped me pick out a design, and fabric/and recommended a cheaper option on blinds. Everything is custom made so it was a perfect match for my style and my furniture. Very high end, high quality work, but a a cheap price.

Nina and her staff are wonderful and detail oriented. Everyone was on site when they said they would be measured and quoted the break-down of labor vs. materials. Turn around was super quick for custom- installation in the field went smooth, adjustments that were needed after installation per my request were made swiftly and without additional charges.
