Maribel was late for the open house and forgot to bring information sheets. When asked about obvious flood damage, she first denied it, then after showing her, her memory came back. She called our mortgage server before even having the clients accept our offer. During the inspection, it came very clear that the water pressure was completely absent. She said nothing. We almost walked away from the deal fearing major plumbing problems. Apparently their was a problem with the city line that was causing the issue and the city was told about it before the house went on the market, but Maribel did not disclose this important information. And she misrepresented the rental income from the property as well as which high school district  the property was in. All her mistakes work out in our favor costing the seller to give us money back in the final sale of the house.

She was very unprofessional an untrustworthy. I would not recommend using her for any dealings.

are two Wasted over $2000 and several weeks dealing with the most unprofessional real estate individual out of the Lincoln Park office for Caldwell Banker. Be warned, if you encounter Suzi Landsman or David Kipnis, get another broker. If either of these people are the broker on the other side, find a new property. They are extremely unprofessional and you will most definitely end up losing lots of money, wasted time, and aggravation. These individuals give real estate agents a bad name by negotiating in bad faith, keeping buyers under contract after contracts are terminated, in order to force buyers to increase their price. They will also collect multiple offers (with multiple checks!) on the same property and you will have to expend time and lawyer's fees to wrest you money back. Be extremely cautious if you are dealing with them.

They were very graceful.  They were excellent.  Their price was good.  Their quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were excellent.  I will use their services again in the future.

Alley Ballard was the real estate agent who we dealt with and she was great. She charged 5 percent commission. She was a very honest person. She did an excellent job in selling our house when the market situation was really poor. We had bought our house in 2006 and sold it in 2009. It was only a 3 percent loss for us which I think was pretty good. She was very candid about the price of our house while selling, as we had to lower it. Our house was in the market in January, February, March and April. It was all done within 100 days. She was very direct and open. She didn't sugarcoat and didn't try to sell us something that really wasn't right. We found her, as she lived in our neighborhood and she sold our neighbor's house. It did cost a lot to sell our house, but I think 5 percent commission was somewhat normal compared to 7 percent. If need be, then I would use her services again.
