Interior Design and Decorating
We worked with him consistently for10 years. Last year we worked with him and ordered a bunch of furniture which never came. Apparently we tried to find out ourselves what was going on. He had become a friend. We never got $80000 that we paid, we had paid him consultation fee plus we paid him the deposit. In some cases we paid full because he said it was for shipping. He stole $80000 this summer. We contacted the police but they said there is nothing that they can do. We can take him to the court but he doesn’t have any assets because he is a decorator and there is no sense of suing him because we wouldn’t get anything anyway. The price was good for buying. We paid him $20000 and we never got the product which costed us another $60000. At that time we thought the price was reasonable. When he was doing well he used to be late.
