I was impressed with Jim's knowledge of the specific problem I had. And it is a good sign of integrity that he immediately steered me away from doing the repair because it didn't make sense to put the money into an old printer when a new one would cost abou the same.
Description of Work: Talked to Jim on the phone about repair for Xerox Phaser 8560DN printer with error that would not clear even by going into maintenance mode and resetting printer. Jim had actually had a customer with the same problem and it required replacement of the solid ink loading mechanism, a ~$400 part. He recommended replacement of the printer, since the same printer is available for about the cost of the part and there was no guarantee that replacement of the part would be the fix.
