We use the treadmill to run about 35 miles per week. The treadmill made loud squeaking sounds the first week, so we called Chicago Home Fitness general manager Dusty Schlotfeldt. He had service company Sertec Inc. come out. We had the motor replaced on Feb. 22 but the new motor was defective. We then had the new motor replaced on April 25. Schlotfeldt noted that company policy was that we needed to go through 3 service calls before we could have the total machine replaced. The cost to us was scheduling and having 3 service calls during business hours. Schlotfeldt was very polite and sympathetic; he told us we'd have the machine replaced at the next problem. We have not had major problems since April 2007.
