Our journey with Chicago Flooring Innovations has been unique. In the end, the company and its principal Octavian have exhibited true integrity and professionalism that is rare in companies today. The floors in the home we purchased were in bad shape and after several attempts, Octavian's crew wasn't able to salvage them. Unbelievably, Octavian offered to replace them (rare and kind!) with high-end bamboo floors his other customers had found to their liking. We soon learned that our installation as floating floors, which was guaranteed by the manufacturer but was a first-time installation for this type of floor for Octavian's crew, was not conducive for these floors. Octavian investigated and learned that other homeowners nationwide with the floating installation experienced the same gapping and cracking that we did. After trying to rectify the situation to no avail, Octavian went way above and beyond. He allowed us to choose floors, virtually any floors, we wanted and installed them. I have a feeling we did not choose inexpensive floors and Octavian absorbed the expense just to do what is right. We are super appreciative.
Knowing who to trust is difficult these days. YOU CAN TRUST CHICAGO FLOORING INNOVATIONS. They could have walked away and didn't. Octavian's crew told me they are treated very well and are very happy... and that is telling. In the end OUR FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL.
