I hired Goran to paint and make small repairs to a condo I own in Chicago. He was referred by a Realtor I was working with to sell the property. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel the work. This was after I had paid an $800 deposit, but before any work was done or materials purchased. Goran would only refund $500 of my deposit claiming it cost him money to provide insurance verification to my condo association. He refuses to provide a receipt. Most expensive ($300) proof of insurance ever, that's all he did.
